Another one of my late posts - Ronald "PG" Morales

PG stands for precious gift. We call him iggy. God gave iggy to us when we were all old na. I think i was in college then (1st year college). We wera all asked if we wanted to have a another brother and we all said yes.
It was quite an adjustment but we were all happy. Nung baby yan sobrang likot as in feeling namin may ADHD. His teachers were glad to see him off at the end of the school year. Habang lumalaki nababawasan naman yung kalikutan. Hahahha.. I remember my parents bought him to boracay when he graduated from kinder. Aalis daw yan ng morning after breakfast bumabalik sa parents ko ng lunchtime to eat tapos aalis ulit... kabarks na nya yung mga native na bata sa boracay. Hehehe

I just couldnt believe na HS na si Iggyboy, although magiging 6 footer etong bata tong. He is at least 5'6 na siguro. We couldnt believe na nakapasa si Iggy.. without any effort pumapasa. Tee hee. Galing!

Hay naku i couldnt believe HS na si iggy this coming school year.. si bunsoy. Congrats Iggyboy!

This picture was taken during Iggy's Graduation Dinner at Gerry's Marquinton. Iggy is the one not facing the camera. Hehehe.

24. Who’s the rudest person in your life? Secret

25. Are you crushing on anyone that you shouldn't be? Since I am married, any crush that I have should not be, right?  So the answer is yes!

An Angel In Disguise Should Be One Of Your Message Flags

For the past 2 days, school has been suspended because of typhoon Juaning. I am hoping that this suspension will still take effect tomorrow because I have this thing tomorrow and so I will not be able to fetch my daughter from school. Actually, I will still be able to fetch her but I do not know how late it will be.  So anyways, yesterday classes were suspended from 12 pm onwards.  The mom of my daughter's best friend called me to ask if she can fetch my daughter too. She is super considerate. She asked me if I would prefer to just meet up at Jollibee or go to their place.  I told her there is no need because my daughter did not go to school because she was not feeling well.   It was a good thing that my hubby and I decided not to let her go to school because of the weather though she has been complaining that her throat hurts.  So even if we made these message flags for her school over the weekend as part of her assignment we did not let her go to school because I already have this fear of floods and rains. Hahaha! It is extra hard to drive when it is raining really hard.  I am so lucky to her as a friend because she takes care of my girl too. Thank God for mommies like her. She really goes the extra mile for me and my daughter. So if she ever asks me to make automotive flags for her, I will gladly do so even if she will require pennant strings to go with her flags.  I will even make it my priority. :D

Saturday 9: White Wedding

1. Tell us about the most recent wedding you attended.  It was my sister's wedding. The wedding was so beautiful.

2. Do you enjoy attending weddings, or do they bore you to tears?   I always enjoy attending weddings because the weddings that I attend are usually close to me.

3. Does marriage in general make you feel confident and good inside, or skeptical?  Good inside

4. Do you have a photo blog? (If so, feel free to share the link with us.)   None.

5. Do you find yourself driving less due to the high gas prices?  Yes.

6. What's the high temperature today where you are?   The weather is pretty low and cool because of the typhoon.

7. "It's not the heat, it's the humidity." Agree, or no?  Yeah pretty much especially during hot days.

8. What's the hottest you've ever been in your life?   When I was pregnant with my youngest.. It was so hot that I can feel steam coming off of my body.

9. Non-temperature related last question: In your opinion... who's hot? Justin T! Channing Tatum! LOL!

Different Ideas On Fundraisers For Schools During The Parents' GA

Last Saturday, me, hubby and our eldest went to her school to attend the annual parents' general assembly.  Just like last year, the "talk" given by the principal will touch you to the very core of your being.  Hehhe! After the speeches given by different representatives, the officers and representatives of the parent council were presented. There was also a dance number presented by some of the fourth year high school parents which was entertaining to say the least.  After the general assembly, all parents were requested to proceed to their child's class for the meeting with all of the teachers per grade/year level.  All the teachers of my child talked about her goals, wishes and expectations for our children which we appreciate.  There were also different ideas for fundraisers for schools which I think I will be a part of because after the teachers did their thing, we were asked per section to choose parent representatives for each class and yes, I was volunteered by another parent to become a class representative.  The question is do I have the time to become one? Hehehe!  I know I will become very busy for the coming months but I will try my very best to be as active in my daughter's school as much as possible since I like most of the parents of the classmates of my child.

My Favorite Birthday Pics

Since there are over two hundred pictures, I am just going to show you a couple of my favorite pics during my daughter's 7th birthday. Here goes:

Saw A Couple Of Industrial Cabinets

Ok so today is my nephew's birthday. Happy happy birthday ackoy! I hope that you are having a blast right now with your mom and your sister.  I am sure you were able to celebrate in class just like your classmate. I saw your classmate's picture and I saw in the caption that she is your crush.  Hehehe!  So good luck with that. I hope she gives you a  birthday kiss. LOL! Aside from your crush, I also saw parts of your school and I saw a couple of metal cabinets that look like industrial cabinets.  In my opinion, using them is a wise decision because of all the documents, files and other things that the school puts inside.  In this way, everything is in order which is usually impossible when you deal with children.  Everything is piling up even their art work and their individual school files. If the school is in existence for several years already, can you just imagine how many of these kinds of cabinets that they need. Actually, all schools should have industrial storage.   All the files including children who enrolled there and have graduated already and all those present children are kept in the school.  If one does not have these kinds of storages, you will not be able to find anything in the school. If one requests like a certificate or what, proof that you studied there, it will take years before they can give you one.

General Assembly

Ok so tomorrow we will be attending my daughter's first parent general assembly for this school year.  Hubby does not want to go but I do. I want to meet all my daughter's teachers especially the ones that she talks about most of the time. I heard some pretty outrageous stories about her teachers.  LOL! I am hoping it will be a half day thing because I have no plans of bringing my youngest along.  Anyways, I might change my mind tomorrow. Let's just see.

How Am I Going To Bring The Shopping Bags

Since my daughter will be having her play group thingy this afternoon after school, I am thinking of bonding with  my youngest. This is the chance where I will be able to spend time with her, just the two of us. No yaya,  no older sister and no daddy. Just the two of us. I guess I should since I have a feeling I will be busy a few weeks from now. I will tell you all about it once I am sure. :D  Anyways, this is the perfect time for us to bond. I might never get this chance again.  I know I am being extra dramatic now.  Hehe! So I am thinking of going to the mall, the nearest mall to where my eldest is going to be. The problem is if it is just the two of us, nobody will carry the diaper bag and the shopping bags, just in case I buy something. Hahaha! As if!  One can never tell when one sees something one really likes right?! I know you get me when it comes to that.

So anyways,  I am thinking of just leaving the diaper bag inside the car and just go back to the car just in case I need to get something from the bag.  I have no intention of bringing the stroller either but I guess that will be super inconvenient. Hmmmmm.  How am I going to lug the paper bags or the plastic bags? I have a couple of things that I am planning to buy. NOTE: errands.  At least with the stroller, I can put the baby on it and then put the bags on the carriage thing underneath it.  OR maybe I should just enjoy my time with the baby and just do the errands tomorrow.  I think that is the best option.

Before The Party

Okay, so I will show you a few of the pictures of my daughter's birthday per batches. Hehe!  I do not know what is happening but it takes forever to upload pictures. So ito muna...

Barbie Dress

Patiently waiting for me while I was dressing up

Cheska's Angry Bird Cake

Prizes, etc,

With her cake and her Toy Story Theme
Cheska was the one who chose the design of her cake. So even if it did not really go with her toy story theme, we were fine with it. After all, it is her party.

Laser Hair Removal For Me? Yes Please!

If there is one thing that I want do these days, it is to pamper myself. It has been a long time since I had a facial. REALLY!  They say when you become a mom, you will let go of your needs (and most of your wants). I almost did not get a pedicure last week in time for my daughter's party but I was rushing the one who was doing it because I was pressed for time. I had to fetch my daughter from school. I did not know that she would take so long. Hahah! So right now while watching Kris TV,  I am dreaming of the time when I will be able to pamper myself as much as I pampered myself before when I was still single. Watching the guests of Kris makes me realize how I neglected myself. Her guests will be having their 2nd baby anytime soon but they look like they are still single.  They did not neglect themselves. One of them even looks like she had a Botox DC or Botox Maryland.  She looks so good.

Anyways,  one of the procedures that I am wishing for myself is Laser Hair Removal. Yes.. TMI right?! I don't care. Hahah! I want this so I do not have to shave or pluck or whatever. LOL! I remember my doctor told me to come back after I am done with breastfeeding so she can do a couple of procedures on me. She even told me she is going to iron my tummy so it will be as flat as before. LOL! AS for now, I resolve to try to take care of myself a little better.

Credit Card Payment Processors and Procedures

... because I had all these things that I needed to do last week I was not able to do what I should do which was to pay my bills. Hays.  This just means that I should expect late penalty fees next month huh.  So even if I pay tomorrow, I will not reach the five-day allotment for credit card payment processing. Booooo!  I do not think they will accept my reason for late payment so even if I call the credit card processing companies, it will all be for naught. Hehehehe! Oh well.. there were a lot of things I forgot last week so this is just another item on the list that I need to do this week. So I should just prepare myself for the additional charges next month. I am calling all ye credit card processors to please spare me! LOL!  Forgive me. I have been reading all these ebooks which is the reason for the "old" words that I have been using such as ye and naught. Hahahahaha!

So anyways back to my problem, I am actually looking forward to the day when I no longer have any personal bills to pay.   Meanwhile, I have to deal with the late payment thing as soon as possible.

Sunday Stealing: The Honesty Meme

Right now I'm feeling...okay

When I'm alone I feel...happy

When I'm surrounded by people I feel...  happy

One thing I hate is... the uncertainty of some things

One thing I really like about myself is ...the ability to move on

When I'm feeling sad I... blog about it.

When I daydream it's usually about... my dreams and hopes for the future

I'm afraid of...ghosts

I'm happiest when...i am with my family who should be happy too.

One thing that really worries me is ...the future of my kids

If I could change one thing about myself it would be...my complaining nature

If I could be with anyone right now I would be with... my kids

The family member I am closest to is... my husband

If I was really honest with my father I would tell him... he did a good job on all of us

One thing I regret about my life is ...secret

If I only had one more day to live I would...spend it with my kids and tell them what I want to tell them and do all the things that they would want to do.. plus I would write down my advice on love, life, career, and marriage.

If I was really honest with my mother i would tell her... she did a good job on all of us

One thing about me that nobody knows is...I think my life has been an open book so the readers of my blog know pretty much everything about me.

I hope that someday in the future... we will be able to travel again.

When I think about my family I feel... happy and content.

Something I'm really embarrassed about is... my weight and my built.

One thing about me I never want to change is...my ability to survive whatever the odds.

One thing I feel really proud of is... my 2 kids.

Blogsville has helped me to... what is blogsville? hehe!

One thing I like about blogsville is... please refer to the previous answer. Hehe!

Needed A Beauty Supply Warehouse For Hair Accessories

Well, it was a tiring weekend for me (us). First of all, it was the 7th birthday celebration of my daughter last Saturday. My daughter and her classmates really had fun. I saw how much fun they had.  The thing is before the party I really had a hard time fixing her hair. I really do not know how to fix hair. I was tempted to bring her to the salon.  Haha! I tried different styles but in the end we settled for this...

Haha! It was a simple hair arrangement but trust me when I tell you it was hard for me to fix it.  Even the new yaya said that it was the most okay.  My daughter has all these hair ornaments but during that day we could not find any. So it was really frustrating. Again, I was tempted to go to a beauty supply warehouse. If we had the time, we probably would go to one but we were running late.  I must say that I think I was not THAT prepared for this party.  Her party dress we only bought the day before and her shoes too.  I totally forgot about the hair ornaments or her accessories. Next time, this won't happen.   If there is a need to I would even buy lace front wigs for black women Hahaha! Just in case she needs them for a costume party or whatever. Actually, a parent has to be prepared whatever is asked from your child (especially in school.) I remember my daughter was asked to come as an Indian and I considered the Indian remy hair but did not know how to do it.  So lesson learned, I need to be more prepared next time.

to be continued...

Do Not Need Pregnancy Advice

I cooked breaded pork chop for the first time. Who would have thought that cooking can be so tiring? Heheh! Such a shame that I was not able to take a picture of it. Tsk! Tsk!  So anyways, I am thinking of taking a picture of the dish that I come up with daily. Naks daily! The pork chop that I cooked for dinner this evening looked so yummy. I am not kidding even my daughter said so though I think she liked the soup more. Hahaha!  So anyways, I hope that all the dishes that I will prepare they will like because even if it does not taste good, the preparation itself is tiring.

Aside from cooking, I am hoping I will get into womens fitness too. I know how important it is to be fit and healthy these days especially since I want to wear my old clothes again.  Some of my friends have been commenting that I am getting slimmer. My husband thinks so too since I was able to wear this piece of top that I haven't worn for a very long time. My friends kiddingly said yesterday during my daughter's birthday that I might ask for pregnancy advice one of these days. I told them, NO WAY! Hahaha! I am quite content with my 2 kids now. We do not have any intention of having more. So I will gladly share all the pregnancy information that I know to women who need it but I am hoping I will not need these types of information for a very, very, VERY long time.

Happy Birthday Cheska!

Happy birthday to my baby girl Cheska! Today you are turning 7 and I just cannot believe that I now have a 7-year old.  I love you to bits. Sometimes, I think you do not realize how much I love you but I do.  I love you more each day.  I love you first moment I knew that you were inside me and that love grows everyday.  So can you just imagine how much love I have for you now?  All the things that we do, even if you think that we love your sister more than you now, are for the both of you. I will try to be the best mommy I can possible be for you and meyms.

I can't wait to see you later! Haha! Cheska when she was 4 months old. LOL!

Food Allergies Or Insect Bites

I am having problems with the skin of my youngest. She seems to get these insect bites and all these other rashes that only she has. I mean we sleep in the same room but she is the only who gets bitten so that's puzzling right? Right now she has this rash on her arm that seemed to develop this afternoon.  I know I should also consider food allergies in the picture since she already eats what I eat. Translation: table food. She no longer enjoys baby food and she spits them out when I give them to her so even if she has boxes of baby food, I no longer give it to her. This just means that I should observe her food intolerance because of the incidence of allergies and all that jazz but she seems to like all table food.  You name it, she likes it. Hehe! When it comes to milk, she still prefers my milk so it is still breast milk all the way.  She also takes her natural vitamins once a day, usually in the mornings.  So aside from watching out what she eats, I should also be extra careful when it comes to her soap.  Her doctor told me that I should only use physiogel because she has super sensitive skin. Another thing with her skin is once she gets these rashes, it darkens and the dark mark stays there for a long period of time.  In fact, I do not think the mark goes away so it really is a bummer to see new rashes/insect bites on her.

Best Coffee Maker For The Groggy Me

Barely had enough sleep last night. I think I slept at around 3 am in the morning and woke up at around 5 am.  The reason? Well, I had a series of interviews yesterday including the VP of one of the companies where I am applying at and the General Manager.  The interviews took so long that my daughter was fetched 2 hours later than her dismissal time. She was already crying when I fetched her from school. I was also crying because of the guilt that I felt.  I did not expect that the interviews would take that long. Actually, it was supposed to be only one interview but they wanted me to talk to the General Manager already since I was already there.  So anyways, when we got home we rested for awhile, ate our snacks/dinner and we reviewed because my eldest had 2 mid-quarter tests today. So by the time we were finished it was almost 10 pm already. In the middle of the review, I got a call because I was assigned with this thing that I am doing at home. The projects aren't regularly assigned so I was somewhat dismayed because I knew I did not have time to do it and it was due that night also.  I should have said no but I have a difficult time saying no ever since I was little. So anyways, the pressure was there last night. I had different roles to fulfill and I had to do it all at once.  Last night, I really wished that I can be cloned. I was somewhat late in submitting the project because I started only at 10 pm but at least I was able to do it.  In the middle of it all, I was getting sleepy because I woke up super early that day too and I did not get to take a nap so I was groggy. I am not a coffee drinker but that time I wished I had a cup of joe to drink. However, it was too late to go the kitchen and so I had to content myself with looking at stainless steel coffee makers. Hahaha! We still have 3 different coffee makers stored somewhere, unused and still in their boxes.  I better check, one of them might be the best coffee maker. I would be super pleased if that was so because it just means that we got the best among the rest right? We all know how many coffee makers are out there in the market today so when you have the best coffee maker, you can expect to make great coffee.

Hoping It Will Not Rain And Spa Filters

My daughter's birthday is coming up.   I am quite worried because as per the forecast on the weather this weekend, there will be a typhoon. Actually, one will be arriving on Friday. I do not know if it will pass by Luzon area or what and I do not know if it will extend up to Saturday.  I even remember the name, the weatherman called it Typhoon Hannah.  My daughter's party will be on Saturday but her birthday is really on Friday.  Since she has classes (if they won't cancel it because of the typhoon), I do not know what will do on Friday.  If you were to ask her, she would love to go swimming. We already talked about that and let us just see if we will. If ever, will go to the spa pool thing so the water will be warm. There is a new spa branch in Pasig. If ever I think I will suggest that because for sure the spa filters are new.  If it will not rain, we can go to a resort near here. Of course, me and the baby will just spend around 5 minutes in that pool. I do not really like bathing in cold water. Plus, I do not know if the pool filter cartridge has been replaced recently so just to be on the safe side, we will swim for 5 minutes.  We all know that owners of spas and resorts do not let their clients check their swimming pool filter cartridges. Though  I haven't actually asked yet. I will one of these days. It is the right of the client to ask if the water and the pool are clean.

Anyways, I am just hoping it will not rain on Saturday.

Test For Mold Project

I finally have time to blog. We spent the whole afternoon yesterday doing the assignments of my eldest and reviewing for her exams for today.  Sometimes I pity her because she had to ingest and digest all these information but I think she is getting used to it now. Though there are times when she gets mad so what I tell her is she can always take a break and resume again if her disposition is okay.   The great thing about her schedule is she has different subjects almost every day. So she has Science on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.  It is a good thing  because she does not have science today because she has a Science project due on Monday. Ugh!  So I am having a hard time thinking about what project we should get started on.  I was checking out the 'net for some ideas and I am leaning towards Mold test kits. I mean it is practical. Everybody should know how to Test for mold right?  Someday she is going to be a homemaker and I want her to know how to detect mold whether or not she has Mold detector.   I think she is quite interested in homemaking and home things because she chose home something body as her club because she wants to learn how to cook. Hahah! I think the club will teach her so many things. Yey!  She is already assigned to bring loaves of bread, other food ingredients, an apron and even the hairnet thingy.  I think she takes after my sister-in-law who is an expert when it comes to home things.  When I was her age, I chose the dance club. Hihihi!

An Anniversary Celebration

Around two weeks ago we were invited by my brother-in-law E to celebrate his parents' wedding anniversary. They were in town for a Couples for Christ thing and it just so happened that it was their anniversary that day too. They do not live in the Metro but somewhere South.  We ate at Hai and had a good time. Everybody who was in Manila were able to come.  One thing that I have to say about the Hai restaurant is they only have one high chair which was a bummer. If they were part of the Diner Dash game, they would have lost customers. Boo!

So anyways, here are some of the pics (grabbed from my bil's FB account):

Design Business Cards Online Service For Me?

Okay so as soon as we have finished with our eldest daughter's birthday, I will plan for my other daughter's birthday which happens to be in August. Yes, I know right?! Their birthdays are a month apart. We did not have it in our hearts for a joint celebration because they deserve to get their special day. So  each one will get her own special day though the baby will hardly remember hers.  Hehe!  Maybe somewhere in her subconscious she will remember it.   When all these are done, I will get to plan my own career. I promised myself I will do that. I still have time to think about what I want to do. Work-at-home stints will not work for me right now because once the baby sees me she does not want to be with somebody else. So the nanny tends to give her to me.

I remember there was a time when I almost went into the party business.  Hehe! I almost did it just for the experience but I backed out at the last minute. I was almost interviewed for a corporate position a couple of weeks ago but I backed out again because my baby got sick.  So anyways, I was thinking of maybe get into the postcards printing business but I do not have the technical know how for it. I mean there isn't any need to since printearly.com does it well. Have you seen their site? Lafont Eyeglasses For Me?

My eldest daughter's birthday is coming up. I already started on the extra loot bags that I prepared just in case the one at the party place will not suffice. I cannot really predict how many kids will be coming.  Thus, the extra loot bags. We also have to shop for her party clothes and shoes. I haven't found the perfect dress just yet though I am thinking to just go with theme. Hehe!  So this weekend, we have to shop for more things to put inside the loot bags, her party dress and shoes and a birthday gift. We have already ordered the cake last week so all that needs to be done in that area is to pick it up on the day of the party.  I am  hoping after all this we still have budget for one of those Costa Del Mar Sunglasses or Lafont Eyeglasses. I am really hearting them right now. I know not another pair that I would lose eventually right?  But seriously, I haven't bought anything for myself in the past couple of months and I think I deserve really nice pair of eyeglasses. Heck, I would even settle for one of those Oliver peoples sunglasses.  I promise if I get any of the 3 mentioned above, I will treasure it and not lose it. I will even make it as a priority of my list of things to save when there is a flood.

I's Birthday Celebration

Speaking of birthdays, we celebrated the birthday of my youngest brother a week ago.  He celebrated at home and this is what he served to his guests.

And these were his guests...

Sell Jewelry For Family

I love my family and I am not ONLY speaking about my daughters and my husband but the entire family including my brothers-in-law, all my nephews and nieces, my siblings, my mom and my dad.. I love everybody in the family and so when somebody hurts any one of them I instantly get on a defensive mode.  I would probably sell jewelry and get military rifles for sale. That's how I love them. I will sacrifice myself to defend any one of them. I am so glad that there isn't any need to attend any military auctions. Haha! They are all peace loving citizens and they do not get into trouble or into any fight. My mom sometimes get mad at people but she just tells these people off. Mind you she does not go around fighting people but when they come looking for her, she does not back off.  Sometimes I wish I am like her because there are instances when I want to tell people off but I can't seem to think of the right words to say at that precise moment.  The words come right after the confrontation which is kind of irritating to me because the situation will repeat itself over and over again in my head.     So anyways, the  point of this blog is I love them to bits. Hehe!

Happy Birthday Ate T!

I would like to greet my eldest sister a happy, happy birthday! I hope that all the things that you are experiencing now, all the hardships, all the pain as well as all the joy will make you a better person in the future.  Enjoy your day and the rest of the year.

Wishing For Grape Plants In Our Backyard

My youngest loves to munch or should I say suck on apples. She uses this gadget, a fruit sucker thingy, where you can place a piece of cut fruit in it and she gets to suck on it. I do not have to worry about her choking or anything like that. So she enjoys it and I enjoy watching her enjoy it.   Check out the picture  I took of her while she was sucking on a piece of apple.

While my youngest loves apples, my eldest loves grapes. She seems to have taken after my dad who loves to eat grapes as well. I think they can finish one kilo of grapes in one sitting. Yes that is how much they love grapes. It would be quite economical if we have Grape plants in our backyard. Do you know how much grapes cost? Hehehe!   We actually have a couple of fruit trees in our backyard. We have an indian mango tree, a santol tree, a macopa tree and others.  I am sure if the weather permits it, we would have blueberry plants as well. Since I have talked about them, I might as well talk about myself too, right? Well,  I love mangoes especially mangoes that come from my dad's home province which is Pangasinan. I swear the mangoes that come from there are the sweetest, juiciest mangoes ever!  While I am addicted to mangoes, my husband loves peaches. I do not get why he loves them but he does. Hehe! So he gets to eat them all by himself.

The Rain and Non-Slip Shoes

It is raining again today and I am dreading it. Aside from my personal traumatic experience brought about by Ondoy, the reason why I dread the rain so much is because I worry about my eldest getting drenched.  She has to lug her huge stroller bag all the way to the auditorium and for her to do that, she has to pass by a platform that does not have any covering at all. The school administrators have to work on that because the kids with their stroller bags need to use that to be able to get to where they are supposed to be picked up. So anyways, she (my eldest) has been requesting for a raincoat for the past couple of days already. We haven't gotten around to buying it yet because we always forget to.  We already bought her non slip shoes for school. Right before school started. At that time, I remember she was quite interested in these pairs of desert boots and combat boots. She was making us choose between the two. We would have bought her a pair of either but decided on postponing it until the time when she really needs them.

So right now since she does not have her raincoat yet, I usually make it a point to come in early and wait for her before the school dismisses her.  So I get to be there to help her pull and push her heavy stroller bag all the way towards the part where there isn't any cover to the auditorium to the car.  Even if I get wet .. at least she does not get wet at all.  So I am really hoping that it won't rain this afternoon.
