The face painting thing was not the end of it because my daughter met two transformers that day too. Actually she also met Mr. Potato Head but I was breastfeeding at that time so I was not able to take a picture of it. I will try to see if my husband has a picture of her with Mr. Potato Head. Hehehe! Anyhoo, you can see that my daughter had loads of fun that day. My other daughter did not care about any of this because she was sleeping and feeding and back to sleeping the whole time. Hehehe!
I wanted the green lizard mascot to get out of the picture but he wanted to be in it too so what the heck. hehehe!

Pesky Negative Feelings
Pests are pests. That is the reason why they are called as such. They are animals that you cannot get rid of easily. Just like negative feelings, if they are there, they will continue to hound you until you get rid of it. So what do you do when you see mice, rats, termites, ants, fleas, and other home pests... you should not think about it. It should be instinctive. Call a pest control agency, a good one, such as Houston pest control right away. Why live with them day after day when you can get rid of them in an instant? Sadly, negative feelings are harder to get rid of. So what do you do when you have it? Do not dwell on it. Do what you should do to make you happy. Go out and do things that make you happy. Spend time with your kids without the pressure of time or doing anything else. Get out and go to a salon. Buy yourself a new dress or a new top or a pair of new shoes. Eat chocolates, ice cream, burgers and fries. Dream! Sometimes day dreaming can take your blues away because it can take you to far off places. See a therapist. Talk to a friend. The point is do something about it. Do not live with it day by day by day by day.
Receipt In Exchange For Face Painting
A trip to Megamall is never complete without a visit to Toy Kingdom. My daughter loves to go around the rows and rows of toys. We do not have to buy her anything every time we would stop by. There are times when it is enough for her to window shop. We call this her "look only" day. So last Sunday, before we went home, we stopped by Toy Kingdom for her "look only" day. We were not supposed to buy her anything but they had a promo at that time wherein you can have your face painted just as long as you buy something from the store. It does not have to be expensive. You just have to show them the receipt. So hubby brought her a coloring book so she can have her face painted. She really wanted to have her face painted.
Check out her pics.

An iPad
One of the things on my wish list now is an iPad. Though it is not really on top of my list but it is there right smack in the middle. I am really hoping somebody would give me this (ahem ahem). It does not have to be right now. I can wait. I am developing my emotional intelligence you see. Har! har! The reason why I want to have one is because of the convenience that it brings. It is portable and it is small. It can actually fit the diaper bag of my baby. So we can be at the clinic of my daughters' doctor and watch videos so my eldest would not be all over the place or if she does not want to watch, I can watch videos or missed movies or my favorite television series on it. In fact, I already have an idea where I can get an iPad Video Converter. You could say that I am already preparing for it so I can maximize its use instantly. Hehehe!
Actually, I already have a Video Converter software saved on my computer. I used to convert different video files so I can watch my movies using hubby's psp or my phone. I found it extremely useful since I used to wait for my daughter at the parking lot whenever she is at school or her other extra curricular activities. A friend was amazed at this software that I found that she even asked me if she could use it as a Video Converter for Mac. I was not sure at that time since I haven't used on it a mac laptop or computer before.

7 Years @ Chef's Quarter
It was our 7th wedding anniversary last Sunday. We celebrated it simply by eating lunch at Chef's Quarter Megamall. Actually my husband had plans that day and he preferred to celebrate it during dinner time but I opted to have it during lunch time since the sun was out. Besides, the weather is so unpredictable these days so I did not want to risk bringing my youngest daughter out at night.
7 years is 7 years. I would not exchange it for the world. There are days when it's really bad. There are also good days that make the bad days go away. It's hard especially if you want the relationship to work. We are not happy all the time but we are trying our hardest to make it work. Yun lang muna.
Check out our pictures at Chef's Quarter. Super yummy food, buffet style. It was my first time to eat there and I was not disappointed.

Tried And Failed
I tried my hand at lotto. I could not help it. My palms were itching for one week already. I do not know maybe I am allergic to something but I do not know what yet. Anyways, since my palms were itching I thought I should try my luck at lotto. The pot is so big now at 100 plus million pesos already. It does not hurt to try right? Well, I did not win but if I did I will surely invest some of it on gold bars. The value of gold does not depreciate so I believe that it is a wise choice. My daughters will benefit from it someday. However, since I did not win all my plans for the future are put at a pause.. for now. :D Hehehe!

High Point And Low Point
I want to say thank you jolt for the pictures. I thought I will no longer see my firstborn's pictures when she was still little. Good thing, my sister has copies of it. So right now I am currently looking at and reminiscing. Time really flies by fast noh? This is the highest point of my day today. So thank you jolt!
The lowest point today was when my eldest and I had a fight and I ended up scolding her. Hay! It is really hard to be a parent. I can't be presumptuous and say that I am a good one right now because I can only say that when they are all grown up. Right now I am trying my hardest to correct her when she is showing bad behavior and she is showing a lot of that now. I just do not know if she is doing that to catch my attention since I am always with my youngest. I know she is adjusting a lot right now since she has to share us and all. But let me just say that I am also adjusting too. It has been a long time since I have taken care of a baby. Plus, I am super hands on with this one. So everyday is a juggling act. I end up tired and exhausted at the end of each day. The pressure is there and it keeps on building everyday. Anyways, so right now I am really longing for one of those solo holidays where I can take a week off, okay 2 days will do. I need to recharge and rest and sleep at least 8 hours, without any interruption and all. I need to re-evaluate myself and re-think what I am doing wrong and what I can do to improve myself as a parent. I need to have fun. I need to miss them once in a while. I need what most moms need and these are rest and relaxation.

My Baby At 2 Months
I love the newsletter and the updates that babycenter.com always sends me. It keeps me up-to-date when it comes to my baby's development. The weekly updates is a validation to what I have been seeing when it comes to my baby and it teaches me what I should do now that there her senses are developing such as her sense of sight and her sense of touch. Yey!
Taken from babycenter.com.
Into complex designs
At this point, your baby will begin to move beyond his early preferences for bright or two-toned objects toward more detailed and complicated designs, colors, and shapes. Show your baby — and let him touch — a wider variety of objects. Good choices include plastic cookie cutters, soft balls, and stuffed animals.
Hear ye, hear ye
Your baby can differentiate familiar voices from other sounds and is becoming a better listener. He also can show you that he's in tune with his environment. Notice how he looks to see where certain noises are coming from.
An ongoing conversation (although still one-sided!) can help your baby develop his sense of place. He may even watch your mouth as you talk, fascinated by how it all works.
Note: If you have any doubt about your baby's hearing, don't hesitate to mention your concerns to your healthcare provider. Even though your baby's hearing may have already been tested, new problems can arise.
A helping hand
The chaotic first months are over and your baby's schedule is probably becoming more predictable. If you and your partner are raising your baby, it's important for both of you to get a chance to care for and bond with your baby. Make sure whichever one of you is not the primary caretaker gets regular time alone with your little one, for bathing him, changing him, and just getting tuned into his needs.
Season For Giving
I have said time and time again that Christmas is almost near. Even if you see a lot of Halloween decors at the mall, one cannot dispute the fact that mall goers nowadays are already doing their Christmas shopping. It is quite depressing if you have a lot of people that you want to give gifts to but you do not have the moo-lah for it. If you do not have a job, well now is a good time as any to get one. Get a job and get paid. So you will be able to spread the Christmas cheer. After all, Christmas is really the season for giving.
I remember when I was still a Recruitment Officer, the number of applicants during this time would dwindle. It will be at its highest during the summer, etc. but the number would always go down during the Christmas season. Nobody wanted to quit their job because of the bonuses given during this time of the year. That was before and there weren't mergers, redundancy, etc. during that time. These days, it would seem that more and more people are out of work. For those who are cpas and are currently looking for a job, I found this CPA ad network to help you out. Actually, company owners and recruitment officers should check it out because it will make the job of looking for people (CPAs) to hire easier.

My Treasures
Today is my youngest daughter's 2nd month. We have been looking forward to it. We are closely monitoring the changes that is happening to her. This is not to say that we are not having a hard time because there are days when it is extremely hard but once we get a smile from the little one, everything is alright once again. She is so precious. There was a time when I was afraid that I will not be able to show the same affection that I have for my eldest. Guess what? A mother's love is limitless when it comes to her kids. You can show the same love and affection for all your kids. Yes you can. Believe it! So we want to provide for their future. We want to make their future as financially stable as we can which is the reason why we are currently looking at gold coins to invest at. We have already opened different bank accounts for our 2 kids. It is about time to store gold for each of them too. After all, gold is universal so they can bring it anywhere and they will be able to trade it for cash if the need arises.
Check out my greatest treasures. Picture taken today.
No amount of money or gold can amount to how precious they are to me. I am sure all parents feel the same way as me.

Almost 2 Months
I take pictures of my little girl every day. I find her fascinating and so beautiful with her tiny face and her tiny feet and hands. Just take a look at her now. This is a picture that I took of her (at home) this morning after we brought Cheska to school. All she does (everyday) is sleep in the car all the way to school and back which makes my life as a driver easier.
Isn't she adorable with her tiny chef-like hat. hehehe! She still sleeps all the time. I do not blame her especially with the weather that we are having. I would also love to sleep all day and all night long too.

What Is Your Dream?
What is one thing (material) that you want right now? As in when you look deep into your heart, what is that one thing that will make you happy? Of course, we all want to win the lotto because it will make all our financial dreams come true. However, chances of achieving our dreams are nil to none if we rely it on winning the lotto. So let us be realistic and focus on that one thing and work our way towards achieving that dream. Let me go back to the question.. what will make you happy?
If you ask me I want to own a house and a lot. Not just any house but I have this particular dream home in mind that I want to own in the future. The first step in achieving that dream is to get ahold of house plans and house designs. The more specific you are the better. So if you can get a hold of a home floor plan than it will be better for you because you will be working for something that is already a reality for you. Now the next step for you to achieve that dream is to work hard for it. Things like that are worth working hard for. Besides you will appreciate it even more. The harder you work for it, the more that you will treasure it. The last step is for you to pray for your dream until you achieve it and you pray even more after achieving it because your dream has finally come true.

Give Me A Break Please
It would seem that everybody in my family is packing up and leaving... hehehe! No this is not a dramatic entry but more of a green-eyed monster type of one. My elder sister and her family will be going on a 7-day vacation at Korea during the semestral break. My youngest sister together with my brother and my mom will be going on a one month vacation to the USA. My other sister and her son have just come back from a 2-week vacation at Singapore just a couple of weeks ago. My eldest sister is planning on having an Asian type of tour in the next month or so.. based on her fb conversations with her friends, they will spend around 5 days in Singapore and a couple of more days in Thailand.
I am wondering when is it going to be our turn. When can we go on a vacation? Especially since I was not able to go to one for the past year because of the sensitivity of my pregnancy and I am sure that I would have to wait for another year or so because our youngest is still too little. Anyways, I am still itching to have one. Of course, if I ask my husband now I am sure he will not approve because of the recent expenses thatwe he spent for. Maybe if we were able to invest in gold coins , budget would not be a problem because now is the best time to invest in them as per United States Gold Bureau. I guess patience is a virtue so I would have to wait for a nice long vacation until my baby is a bit older. Hopefully we have the budget for it when the time comes. Preparation is the key, so I should invest in gold and other precious metals now.

Advance Happy Halloween
Scared? Nah.. she is just posing for the camera. Hehehe!
We were at one of the malls near our home because my daughter and I were so bored at home and she wanted to drink one of those choco shakes. Before we proceeded, she saw these promo stands of one of the scary movies that will be shown one of these days... thus, the photo shoot. Hehehe!
So let me already greet you advance happy halloween from my family to yours. One of these days I will tell you all about these encounters that me and my daughter have been experiencing lately.

The Reason For My Stress
How can one lose things in one's own home? I no longer keep track of my daughter's things ever since I have given birth. However, yesterday I wanted to see her other vtech toy because she was playing with the other one. She can no longer find it. The helper said that she had just seen it when she cleaned and arranged my daughter's things and now we can no longer find it. Who can explain that? I do not want to point a finger at anyone since I do not have any evidence but it is just frustrating. She has not played with her vtech things for quite some time now and now that she has taken them out of their hiding, this particular vtech toy is now lost. It makes me scared to find out what other things we are missing. This has caused me so much stress last night. Stress that I do not want or need at the moment. Hay.
So now I am teaching my daughter to be responsible for her things. All the things that we bought for her will be for naught if she will not take care of them. Plus, it will teach her to take care of herself and her things not only at this moment but moreso when she grows older especially if she will pursue her dreams because as of this moment her dream is to become a doctor. If this dream of hers comes true, then my dream for her will come true. I will love to see her wearing one of those scrub sets. In fact I will gladly buy medical scrubs for her. I do not know if it is too early to do this but right now I am already looking for places where to buy medical scrubs or buy medical scrubs online. I know it is still too early but I figure it will become useful especially since a lot of my relatives are into the medical profession.

I know it is still too early but I figure it will become useful especially since a lot of my relatives are into the medical profession.

A Lot Are On Emo Mode Right Now
A lot of wives are currently missing their husbands. I guess this is the time of the year when husbands go away to work abroad. This is what I have been reading today in facebook, on some of the blogs that I follow, etc. So must of these wives are on emo mode... I think they should form a support group or something to help them cope for their temporary loss. I guess it is quite hard even if the husbands are away for only a couple of months. My husband is away for only 1 day and I miss him already if he arrives really late at night.
So I guess a lot of them are wishing that they could be with their husbands now. If they are asked to move with them wherever they are, they would in an instant. They would leave everything behind just to be with their respective partners in life. They will contact Boston Moving Company in a flash if there is a need to especially now when Christmas is near. It is understandable that they want to be together. Who wants to be lonely and sad on the "happiest" day of the year? Although, for those who have kids, they show a brave face, a happy one, just so the kids will not feel the loss too because it is equally hard for them too.

Hot And Cold
Christmas is definitely near. There are days when you can actually feel that the air is a little cooler. I sort of have a love-hate relationship with the season because I definitely love the weather. It is my most favorite season. However, I do not like the pressure and the expense that come with it. I do not know how I will cope with the shopping especially since I will always bring my little one with me at all times even when I am shopping for gifts. Anyhoo, back to the season, how I envy those places that get to experience snow. It is the ultimate sign that Christmas is upon us. Although snow or no snow, we all need those water heaters for our baths. It is extremely difficult to take a bath when the water is cold so make sure that your water heater is working. If it's not you can always have it repaired by Jay's Comfort Team. I heard they are servicing the Phoenix area, so most of Phoenix water heaters are working, especially the ones that have been dealt with by Jay.
Since Jay and his comfort team deal with the comfort of the people that they service, they do not only offer air conditioning repair service (as I previously blogged about) but they also repair heating units. Their goal is to provide comfort to the folks that they get to service. So most of the folks at Arizona and Phoenix do not have any problems with their Arizona heating and Phoenix heating as well as their cooling conditions.

My Baby Is 6 Weeks Old
You should see my baby now. She is a little chubby. She can sleep on her tummy. She plays with her jungle gym. She smiles at us when she feels like it. I bring her with me whenever I bring my eldest to school. Do not worry because she is always on her car seat whenever she is in the car. She is such a good girl because she always waits until we get home before she signals me for milk. She still sleeps a lot.
I still need a lot of help when it comes to taking care of her so I rely on babycenter.com for updates. For this week, this is what she is going through.

Music appreciation
Now that your baby's awake for longer periods during the day, you can use these times to support his sensory development. Try singing your favorite lullabies or playing music.
You don't have limit yourself to children's songs. Fill the house with the sounds of music — from the Black Eyed Peas to Mozart — and watch as your baby expresses his pleasure through coos, lip smacks, and jerking arm and leg movements.
Your baby might also enjoy the sound of wind chimes or a ticking clock. The more varied the offerings, the richer the impact. Inevitably, you'll notice that your baby responds to and favors some selections more than others as he begins to develop preferences.
Don't feel like you need to bombard your baby with music all the time, though. Babies need quiet time, too. An overstimulated child may cry, look away, tense up, arch his back, and become irritable. Try giving your little one time to regroup before moving on to more play.
Self-expression
Your baby may not be able to talk yet, but his face is sure telling you a lot. He's experimenting with different facial expressions — pursing his lips, raising his eyebrows, widening or squinting his eyes, and furrowing his brow.
Your baby may be trying to tell you something — perhaps a diaper change is in your future — or maybe he's just exploring his newfound abilities.
Remember, your baby is an individual
All babies are unique and meet milestones at their own pace. Developmental guidelines simply show what your baby has the potential to accomplish — if not right now, then soon. If your baby was premature, keep in mind that kids born early usually need a bit more time to meet their milestones. If you have any questions at all about your baby's development, ask your healthcare provider.
Just A Few More Weeks
My sister together with my mom and my brother will be leaving in a few weeks for the USA. They will be taking a much needed vacation. They all need it. I envy them. If I did not have any kids of my own (and if I have the budget for it) I will surely come with them. It is always a great idea to take a vacation with friends and family then going on a trip by yourself. Plus this is a good time to go there. It is autumn there and it is always nice to see the color of the leaves change. I am sure it will be breathtaking. I do not know if they will be able to go where there is snow. They will be staying at LA for the most part of their vacation and we all know that it does not snow there. Although my mom made mention that there might be a possibility of going to other states. I hope that they will be able to go where there is snow so they will be able to experience it. If they do, I just hope that they will be extra careful and get tire chains for the wheels of the vehicle that they will be using. I want to hear all about their trip and I hope that they get to experience everything there is to experience out there.
I really wish I could go but of course I can't. Hehehe! Next time maybe. I hope there will come a time when the whole family (as in everybody) will be able take a vacation. It does not have to be in the USA, an asian trip will do.

Changes In Me
Having a second baby changed me. I no longer want to go out because there are just too many things happening once we are outside. Plus the fact that I have to be accessible to my baby at all times. So even when we are grocery shopping, we have to stop and look for a place where we can breastfeed. Actually, it is not so bad when hubby is around since he always knows what to do. It is just too hard when he is not. My daughter's yaya does not have any idea what to do or what I need. Plus I do not let her carry my baby. The only people whom I allow to carry my baby are my relatives or hubby's relatives. You just do not know what diseases others might be carrying. In my defense, I am a mom who is just being extra careful especially since my baby is still so little.
Traveling Back And Forth
A friend of mine will be celebrating his birthday tomorrow. He traveled all the way from where he lives to here just so he could be with his family. He really loves his family. I think he was here 2 months ago for his son's birthday and now he is here again. He travels back and forth several times a year. If I did not know any better, I would say that he has invested in bullion. Actually, I don't know so maybe he has. Who knows? I did not really ask what he does for a living but with the way he lives he life, maybe he is into it.
My POV On Mailboxes
Don't you love mailboxes? I do. I love the ones that look like birdhouses. Hehehe! It adds beauty to the place. I passed by my parents' other house and saw that my dad already installed one of those Commercial Mailboxes that you see. It is a good thing that he did because my brother is usually the only one there and he sometimes does not hear if somebody is at the door so the mail is left at the ground and when it rains it gets wet and sometimes it gets lost.
I also love the Cluster Mailboxes and the CBU Mailboxes that I saw used by condominum units at Singapore and even here. Mailmen do not have to go up and down the units just to deliver the mail and unit owners do not have to worry about their mail getting lost even when they do not check them for days because their mail is just there inside their respective mailboxes. My sister-in-law has those Apartment Mailboxes because they live in a compound where there are a lot of apartment units so the mail does not get mixed up with their neighbors.

Friday Fill-Ins
Yey! One of my favorite memes is back. Apparently the one who is handling it just had a major surgery and is recuperating quite well. Thus, the reason for the lack of meme updates for the past weeks. Hehhee! So here goes...
1. My back is strong.
2. Wet and wild.
3. Leaves are falling all around, it's autumn once again.
4. One symptom of Alzheimer's disease is forgetfulness.
5. Healing is inevitable.
6. Taking care of my newborn is what I've been up to lately!
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to sleeping, tomorrow my plans include going to church and Sunday, I want to just rest!

Vacation Time
My mom, my youngest sister and my brother will be going on a trip this month. They will be going to the USA for a vacation. I think they will stay for a little over a month and be back just before my other sister gives birth. How I wish I could come with them. But having a family makes me prioritize them first before myself. Besides I prefer to take a vacation with them or I do not take one at all. So I guess when they are a little older and when budget permits then I hope we will be able to take a trip. Thus, this is a good time as any to invest in gold coins. So by the time the little one is able to go on trips then we will have lots of budget to go where we want to go. We all know how trips can make a dent on one's savings.
