Parenting Woes

I am having trouble dealing with my daughter these past few days. I do not know if its because she has a sister or she got used to not doing what we usually do everyday . At the hospital, she would spend her days just watching tv so it is quite difficult to ask her to study when all she wants to do is to watch tv.  This has never been our problem before. She would watch tv but she knew how to pace herself. She would always find something else to do. But these days, she does not want to let go of the remote.  It's hard because it would seem that we would have to start at the beginning when it comes to our rules in watching tv.  It is very easy to just let her watch but as a parent, it is not the right thing to do.

In Awe Of iPhone App Development

My husband just asked me before he and my daughter number 1 left if I wanted anything. I wanted to tell him, I want an iPhone. Hehehe! But of course, he was only talking about groceries and food cravings that I have right now. Actually, I am refraining from eating too much since I want to go back to my pre-pregnancy weight. I know I will be able to achieve it with breastfeeding 24/ and controlling the amount of food that I eat, I can do it! Hehe! Anyways, the reason why I want an iPhone because one of my husband's officemates who visited me in the hospital has one and he showed to me the newest iPhone App Development which made me want to have one. I even saw several pictures that he took of my daughter number 2 at the nursery and the pictures are really clear. You know me, I want a gadget that seems to contain all the things that I need so I do not have to bring different gadgets every time I go out. It is such a shame that hubby did not see it because at that time when his officemates were in the room, he and our daughter number 1 were out. 1st Quarter Grades

My husband got my daughter's report card yesterday and I must say that I am mighty proud of her. She got a 90++ grade in all of her subjects.

Christian Living Education - HS

Filipino - HS

Reading - O

Language - HS

Mathematics - HS

Grade equivalent of what she got:

95-100  Outstanding (O)
90-94  Highly Satisfactory (HS)

She works hard for her scores because she studies everyday after school. This is exactly what we want to teach her that if she works hard, then it will pay off.  Anyways, the scores that she received are a combination of the scores of all the seatworks, homeworks, everyday class participation, quizzes, unit tests 1 and 2 and the quarterly test for the 1st quarter.

My husband said that my daughter's teacher gave him good feedback yesterday.  So congrats cheska for doing well in school.

Getting The Best Of Both Worlds With Cheap Insurance

I am kind of scared right now because my husband wants to change the dressing of my wound. So I am kind of making up excuses why it should be postponed but I know eventually he has to do it... as in within the day. Actually one of the excuses that I thought of is the quotation of a cheap insurance. I was supposed to have given this to him a couple of months back but everything was happening all at once. Unit Test 1 For The 2nd Quarter

My daughter and I are currently reviewing for her exams next week. She will have her unit test 1 for the 2nd quarter on September 2 for the subjects Reading and Math and for September 3, she will be having Language and Filipino.  Suffice to say that we are both stressed out since I have so many things to do while she missed almost half of the lessons that were taught for the exams.  Today, we should be starting with Filipino. It is hard to teach the subject, Filipino, especially if we are both not familiar with some of the words. Hay! ACK!
Actually  we should already be starting since my mom is going to celebrate her birthday today.  I doubt if we will be able to squeeze any studying later.

Is there any medicine for post-partum depression? Hehehe! I am already feeling it head-on. The problem with this is it is not only me that is affected but my husband and my daughter number 1 as well. They do not understand why I am always close to tears. Just last night, we were reviewing for my daughter's exams next week and I was explaining to her the lesson that she missed. Since she was not able to get it the first time, I got mad and cried. She cried too which made me feel really bad. I hope that this post-partum thing goes by really fast. Hay!

Anyways, I am checking out different vitamins and vitamin supplements on the 'net since I can't get out of the house. My wound still hurts like hell. Thus, I would have to content myself with searching for things online which brought me to Supervits.com. Mama's Birthday

It's my mom's birthday on the 31st but I think that it will be celebrated tomorrow as per my dad. I know that my mom might be a little sad because most of my siblings are not here. But I know that she will be happy just the same since Ramiel will get to spend her birthday with her plus Lolo Art is also here.

Anyways, for those of us who are here in Manila, family dinner might push through tomorrow to celebrate mama's birthday.  I do not have a gift yet since I am unable to shop but I will buy her a gift as soon as I am able.

Feels Exactly Like Finding A Bullion

I am watching the replay of Ms Universe 2010 tonight because I was not able to watch the whole thing last week. When we turned on the channel, the top 5 was already being called. I really wanted to see how Venus Raj was able to carry herself the entire time. I really like her smile. It is so warm. It is probably the reason why she caught the attention of so many people.  Plus the fact that she is sooo thin and yet voluptuous at the same time. Lucky her.  Her skin is also different from the rest of them. It is golden which I think made her stand out even more.

It has been a long time since our country was chosen as a semi-finalist. It is like finding a bullion. It was that exciting especially for us.  I know that you also saw these group of friends who acted like they found gold when Ms. Raj was called as a semi-finalist.

Thanks For The Visit

I would like to thank my in-laws for coming today. They even brought food and everything. They wanted to see the newest addition to the family.  It is heartwarming especially since they made time. I know how busy they are with their lives plus the fact that it is raining.  It really took a lot of effort for them to come here. Heheh! So thanks! If Ramiel can talk, I am sure she will thank all of you.

Like what I have said, my niece J is so artistic.  She knows how to sketch.  She did an exact replica of my daughter C.  When she showed her drawing of my daughter to me, I was pleasantly surprised.  I wanted to ask it from her to have it framed. I took a picture of it instead.

Investing Wisely

Having two kids to take care of now makes me think seriously of the future.  Having extra money does not mean that you can squander it away and buy the things that you want but do not need, that's what having another kid does to you.  It sort of changes you to be more responsible. With my first, I was more frivolous because I wanted her to have everything and that includes toys, clothes and shoes that she does not need. Do you know that her clothes cabinet is overflowing with clothes? So with my second I have to be a little smarter especially when it comes to spending which makes my husband proud of me. Hehehe!  Anyways, just like what I have said, we have to think of the future of our two kids which is why we need to buy gold coins. 

Why gold? You see money is fleeting but gold lasts forever and it could be various forms to. Plus its value does not depreciates so buying and keeping gold is definitely one smart investment.

Proud Of J Again

I am so proud of my niece Julia. She has been featured in tv again and this time I was not able to watch it because I was in the hospital.  She was shown playing one of her piano pieces and she was even interviewed by the host. It was shown in channel 5 last Tuesday.  I am trying to look for uploaded videos on the 'net but up until this moment I am unable to locate it.   Grrr. Hehehe!

I heard she is being offered to audition to one of the newest series on tv. But the thing is she has to excuse herself from school 3x a week which makes her parents hesitant.  Anyways, I already offered my services as a make-up artist if it pushes through. Hehehe!

Thinking Of Beds For My Two Girls

My hubby sometimes complain that I think ahead way too much. I admit it. I am a planner. This must be because of the training that I had for 10 years working in HR. You need to plan for things and plan for it's contingencies just in case your first plan does not work out or else you will be in major trouble. So right now I am already planning my daughters' sleeping arrangements. I should have brought a pull-out bed or at a double decker bed when I bought my daughter's bed. At that time, I wanted a pull-out bed but I was not able to see one and my daughter was so excited to sleep on her own that I bought the first thing that she liked. Thus, the single bed. Now, I see lots of bunk beds for kids and I wonder if we should just sell her old bed and just buy new ones. One requirement that I need is it would have to be wooden. I would love for my daughter(s) to have a bunk beds wood. It is classic and it would last for several years. There are a lot of designs to choose from especially if you choose from momsbunkhouse.com. I would even consider buying them a twin bunk bed if they prefer it or would they rather have a double decker bed. I know my daughter would love to have the latter. She has been asking for it for a long time already but I did not know back then that we were going to have another child. Thus, now the timing is perfect although baby number 2 would have to wait a couple of years before she can use hers.

Changes In The Room

My husband is thinking of changing the lighting in the room. He says that it is too bright this time around and he thinks that it might hurt the baby's eyes. He actually wants to change it to Semi Flush Ceiling Lighting.  Personally, I think that Swing Arm Wall Lamps will do because it will serve its purpose which is to provide adequate lighting while we are sleeping. Anyways, whatever he decides to do will suffice since he knows what is best for all of us. So if he wants to have Cherry Tree Lighting in the room, I guess I will have to concede.

I know that a lot of changes will be happening in the room to accommodate our daughter Ramiel's things. So let us just see shall we.

The Reason Why I Was Super Terrified Last Night

This is the reason why I was super terrified last night. 

Diba scary?  I was already crying when I saw it and I could not think.  I just wanted to go to the hospital Good thing my husband is not the panic type and my mom too. They checked the baby for wounds and they found none. They checked the baby for signs of blood inside her mouth. They could not find any. Although, my mom checked on Ramiel thrice last night just to see whether it happened again.    Apparently, the blood came from my left breast.  I am exclusively breastfeeding you see.  So right now,  I am using my breast pump just so my breasts could heal and my baby will be able to directly feed from me again.  If only I could go to the mall, I will buy those nipple protectors that Pigeon sells. At that time, while I was checking out baby stuff, I did not thought I will be needing it.

The Importance Of Testing Your Health

The health of any person is important. It is true when a person says that a person's health is his wealth. That is why it is important to get your physical examinations yearly and to get tests when you need to. Personally, we always rush to the doctor when our daughter is not well or when I am not well. We do not hesitate to get work-ups done such as blood testing, urinalysis, xray, etc.

However, I know that there are some people who are nervous and ashamed to go through specific tests such as std testing. One does not have to worry because nobody has to know if you do not want anybody to know. In fact, you can get same day std testing if you want to get it over and done with. I think that our newly elected president should consider having a National STD Testing day in our country so everybody is aware how healthy they are down there. Visitors

My in-laws dropped by today to check out the newest addition in the family.  They only knew about it last night when my husband called my mother-in-law to tell her about it.  I was kind of already expecting that they are going to come today because they are quite excited with the baby's arrival.  They did not disappoint because they came as soon as they heard. Although they would have wanted to go the hospital.  I  told them that it would have been harder for me to entertain them because I was in too much pain.  Plus, I am more comfortable at home than anywhere else. So anyways, thank you!  I know how busy all of you are and yet you still make time for baby Ramiel and ate cheska.

A Pause

My husband and I both decided that daughter number 1 will have to stop her math advance classes since nobody will be able to bring her to the center anymore especially since I am unable to drive for at least a month.  My doctor told me that I should take a break from driving for at least a month.  We would have wanted for her to continue but she can always resume when I am able. Plus, her school load is really heavy and with all the changes that has been going on in our lives, it is a must that she should take one load off.   If everything normalizes and I am able to drive again, we will consider it again especially since she is already so advanced.  Do you know that at prep level she can now do 4th grade math?  She has been solving equations by herself for quite some time already which totally amazes me.  I know that if she will not stop,  she will be an expert Algebra solver a couple of months from now. I know I am kind of regretting our decision now but like I have said, she can always resume her lessons if she wants to and get back on track easily. A Terrified Mom

I got the scare of my life tonight. As I said in my previous post, I was reviewing my daughter for her exams next week when I noticed blood on my daughter Ramiel's collar.  I was in panic. I wanted to bring her to the hospital ASAP but my husband wanted to investigate first.  It is a good thing that my mom is here so she checked the baby also.  My dad prayed over the baby too.  All of them said that the blood probably came from me.  I guess  because my left breast is so sore from breastfeeding. But the amount of blood that I saw on her shirt was too much. Since I am not sure where the blood came from, I will be awake all night and watch over my baby tonight just to make sure that my baby is alright. If I see one more drop of blood we will rush to the hospital. I will post pictures of the shirt and the receiving blanket tomorrow. Hay!

Reviewing This Weekend

My daughter has been absent the whole week so she has missed a  lot in school which worries me because her class will be having the 2nd quarter's 1st unit test next week.  It is a good thing that she does not have classes on Monday and Tuesday so we will probably spend the time studying.  Actually, tonight we have just finished with her subject in Reading and I plan to review her Math Word Problems tomorrow.I do not know if the scope already includes How to divide.  Can you believe it? She already has math problems to think about. Hehehe!  I will probably start out with a Math practice test just to see where we should concentrate on.  I know that right now, at this precise stage in her life, I can still help her with her Math. But I know that there will come a time when I need help to help her especially with her Pre Algebra and most probably her Algebra equations.  With these, I can always contact tutorvista.com for online tutoring even if its a Slope Formula. My gosh! I cannot even remember what that is.

I'm Back

Just got back and I have so many things to tell you guys. I have been offline for around 5 days and I must say that I have a lost a lot during these 5 days but also gained a lot.  My husband did not allow me to use my laptop or his during my 5-day reprieve.   It's as if I have gone for a drug rehab.  I was having internet withdrawal symptoms.  Lol!  

Actually, I was already begging him last night if I could use his laptop but he did not want me to open even my e-mail since it will only bring me unnecessary stress. He was right! I had lots of opportunities that have expired on me. I know I can't do anything about them now, especially then since I was in so much pain.  I do not know which is more painful now... Heehehe! Bygones!

Anyways, I was doing a little bit of research about drug treatment since I had gotten curious about it since I read a flyer about it.  People who are in a whole lot of trouble when it comes to addiction to drugs should get help.  I know pain. US - Canada Trip Several Years Ago

My sister posted a couple of pics of our US and Canada Tour a couple of years back. I could not believe how thin I was several years ago.  Hehehe! I wish I can go back to my old built. I will surely try.  Wish me luck. Anyways, this is me and my aunt at Las Vegas.

I wish I can do another tour but this time with my husband and my daughters in tow. I know they will enjoy the experience.

Nesting

I know that I have been telling people that I have been nesting.  Indeed I am! Do you know that yesterday after I brought my daughter to her doctor, I checked out several outdoor commercial planters? I know I am crazy especially since a new baby is coming along. I will not have the energy or the time to take care of plants.  Anyways, there are lots that my mom would surely adore. She is into gardening especially if she has the time which she does not have much of because of the family business. But whenever she has time, you will see her taking care of her plants and flowers and because my dad and my mom has a big backyard, they can get those large commercial planters. This reminds me the father of my husband is also into landscaping and I guess he will like to get a commercial planter as a gift for Christmas.

That is why I do not really like condo units much because the space is limited. Even if you would want to incorporate a garden, you can't because of space limitations.  Although, you can probably ask admin if you can put in commercial planters but I do not know if they will agree but you can always try.

Sick And Cranky

My daughter is sick and I seem to be catching what she has. Last night, her temperature shot up to 39.5.  It was going up and down and she was cranky and could not sleep. So we were not able to catch sleep either especially since we had to wake up every hour to give her medicines (anti-biotics, paracetamol, etc.).  So today, I am the one who is not feeling well and seems to be developing a fever while she seems to be fine with a little bit of cough but she is back to her old self which is good really. I am the one that is cranky because aside from the fever, I have all these body aches and pains.  If I did not know any better, I would think that I am already going into labor.  Hay!  Tomorrow, we might get her tested for dengue just to rule it out.

Do not think that I just laze around all day long doing nothing because I am more busy than ever. Whenever I am at home I try to learn new things. It is always good to learn know things and you just never know when the information will be useful. For example when doing my blogging I am learning about new things everyday. Hoping To Go On A Cyrpus Holiday With Hubby Sometime Soon

My due date is almost here and I must say that I am quite excited and frightened at the same time. Actually, I am more frightened than excited. I have already expressed my fears to my husband he keeps on telling me that everything will be okay.  He even promised me a prize such as one of those Cyprus holidays that I have been wanting to go ever since. Actually, I just need a vacation. The last time we were out of the country was 2 years ago and I feel that it has been a long time since then.  So I am quite envious when my youngest sister left for Indonesia for work. She will be gone for a month.  My other sister will be going to Singapore next week with her son for a couple of weeks too.  Actually, I think one of my sisters, who is also pregnant, might join them a couple of weeks from now. Since I am pregnant and almost due, I am unable to travel anymore.  I don't think airlines will accept me anymore because I might be giving birth any time now.  Plus the fact that I promised my doctor that I will be a good girl until a give birth. So I am keeping my promise. I even missed the famous broadway musical Cats. My sisters watched it last night and they said that it was awesome and mind-blowing.  Anyways, all my sacrifices will be worth it once I see my baby girl. 

Undecided

My daughter and I had plans of fixing and organizing her things (toys) today but time flies by so fast and before I knew it the day has almost ended.  What happened to the time? Hehehe! I wonder where we will go. If you ask my daughter, it is always a battle between Jollibee or McDonalds.  It's like no other restaurant exists for her.  Jollibee for the burger steak and McDonald's for the play place. Since my husband will be home super late (night out with the boys), this is my chance to spend more time with the daughter as I plan to take her out for dinner after I take a bath. I do not want to drive to Ortigas especially since I know that traffic will be horrible today because it is a friday and everybody wants to go out on a Friday plus the fact that it is Friday the 13th so I prefer to go somewhere near.  Call me superstitious? It is alright. I prefer to be safe than to be sorry so that leaves us with Blue Wave or CnB Mall. We can always go to SM Marikina, Sta. Lucia or Robinson's Metroeast but I would have to deal with the traffic and I do not want that.

The Day That Was

My daughter did not have classes today. Yesterday, they gave out free ice cream for their students, much to the delight of the students. Since my daughter did not have any classes, we did not have to rush out or anything, so  it was such a lazy day for me. It would have been perfect if there is cable but there is none, the digibox cannot detect any signal, so we she has been watching Sound of Music the whole day while I was able to finish Sex and the City 2.  I am also thankful for the fact that my daughter knows how to play by herself so I was able to take a nap and do some reading on what the United States Gold Bureau has to say.  I did not know that you can purchase gold, silver and other precious metals from them.  You can arrange for personal delivery or course it through an independent bank for safe keeping.  Anyways, back to the daughter, there were times when I played with her especially when she took out her board game and her lego set. I do not know what time the cable will be back but I have plans of dining out with my daughter so I plan to buy a new board game, just a cheap one. I sure hope that we have cable by the time we come back.

Friday Fill-Ins

6. My daughter is always lively and energetic.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to just being with my daughter since hubby has plans with his friends, tomorrow my plans include going out hopefully with hubby and Sunday, I want to rest!

Sound Of Music

My daughter, together with her classmates, will be performing a medley of songs from the movie, "Sound of Music". I must say that I am excited to see her sing.  Since she is still one of the tallest in class, I know she will be positioned in the back again.  I told her that mommy will not sit at the front row but somewhere in the middle so I can see her.  You see she wants me to always sit in the front aisle.  To help her with the lyrics, the pronunciation of the words and the melody, I bought her an original copy of the movie.  Good thing it is still available at the music store.  The best thing about buying an original is the special features that come with it and one of them is being able to sing the songs individually while the words are shown at the bottom. So now I can't seem to get rid of the songs in my head even if she is no longer watching and busy doing her worksheets.

They Got Talent

I bought tickets for next week's show at my daughter's school where there will be a showcase of talents of her school's best. Actually the title of the show is (name of school)'s Got Talent. So they will be featuring the best of  their students, their alumnae and others.  I got tickets for the 1 pm show.  Unlike my daughter's previous school where it is free to attend, this time parents have to pay to be able to watch. Hehehe!  I am just worried about the schedule though, since my daughter will be performing for both the morning and afternoon show, she would have to stay the whole day.  If I leave and come back in time for the show, who will fix her up? Does it mean that I have to stay the whole day too?  I already told hubby about it and that he would have to go on leave on that day which is fine with him since I did not hear any complaints. However, I wonder what we will do if ever we will stay at the school one whole day. I guess we can discuss our plans to buy gold coins. It is about time that we sit down and talk about it. The timing is right because today is the best time to buy them as per the United States Gold Bureau.

Fun Thursday

Since my daughter will not have any classes tomorrow, our gimik which I usually schedule during Friday was moved to today. I make it a point that I can have at least one gimik day with her a week, just the two of us. I must say that I am going to miss our "dates" once I give birth.  I know that it will be hard to spend time with just her especially since I plan to exclusively breastfeed.   Plus,  I cannot leave my baby behind. I am already preparing her for the changes that will be happening once her sister is here.  I hope that she will understand and will not make it extra hard for me since I do not want a bad case of past partum depression.

Scared For A Moment

Since we arrived early at my daughter's school today, we had a rare chance to watch her play with her classmates.  I did not know that they could get so rowdy! They are all girls but some of them act like boys. Hehehe! My daughter slipped and almost hit her head on a pillar because a classmate suddenly jumped on her back.  Goodness! My heart stopped for a second when I saw how she protected her face by using her elbows as brakes. My husband said that if we ever get the chance to arrive early at school again, my daughter will have to stay in the car until the school bell rings.  That is the time when the prep students line up and are escorted to their respective classrooms.  Even if they have teacher aides to watch all of them while waiting for the school bell to ring, the teacher aides will not be able to stop all the kids from playing. Plus who would have guessed that a classmate would suddenly jump on my daughter's back.  She was near me and yet I was unable to stop them.  Yikes!
 

Lazy Mornings

I love lazy mornings. We did not rush out or anything today because my daughter woke up early. So we were not pressured to get to her school on time because we were quite early. In fact, we were already at the school grounds at around quarter to 7 which is quite rare if you ask me.  Hehehe! My daughter is always late and we already received one note from the teacher regarding her tardiness.  I know that time is gold which is the reason why we are trying our best to wake up early but it is hard especially for my daughter. Even if she sleeps early, it is hard for her to wake up at 6.  She already requested that we move near her school so she does not have to wake up early.   If only it was that easy! Hehehe! Moving involves money and you need to have lots of it which is the reason why I am thinking of gold coins again. Do you know that gold has the magic to change lives? Thus, it is the best form of investment especially these days when the world demands for it.  So a good investment means more money and more money means we can buy a house wherever my daughter likes. Anyways, as for now, I just hope that my daughter will be able to develop the habit of waking up at 6 or at least 15 minutes before 6 am.

Feeling Different

I left my daughter at her after school classes and went back home so I can take a rest. She usually plays afterwards at the nearest McDonald's play place and she takes a minimum of an hour and a half.  I end up really tired after waiting for her for a minimum of 2 hours and 30 minutes. I try to save up on gas and in a way do my own part when it comes to saving the planet and global warming. The waiting is okay with me because I can get my pedicure or have the car washed but today is different.  It must be the meds.  I am extra sleepy and extra tired even if I have just been resting.

Anyways, this is her before we left.  Good thing it stopped raining but the grounds are still all wet.

Not Yet Baby

Just like I said last night, I am taking two additional sets of medicines so I will not give birth. Well, not yet anyways. Yeah you read that right.  My doctor does not want me to give birth yet which is the reason why she prescribed medicines so the baby does not come out even if she wants to. I am already feeling that she wants to get out. AS in! I had tests done on me last week and the results were not good.  My doctor is not happy about it. This is also the reason why I am taking antibiotics which is also prescribed by my doctor.  It is not yet an infection but the bacteria is already there which is the reason for the meds. My doctor does not want it to become an infection which could make it highly dangerous for the baby.  So yeah, the first and last trimester of this pregnancy is quite difficult for me.  Thus, with the 3 different sets of vitamins that I am already taking, that makes a total of 5. Hehehe!

Wolf

Wolf in sheep's clothing.  That is all I am going to say about this person. I pity the one who married him.  I wish she will get one of those covert audio recorder so she knows what is going on because I am not the one who is going to tell her. I remember the time when I have to tell  my friend about this guy whom I saw at the mall with his arms around another girl. It was a tough call and I was shaking when I called her to tell her what I saw. I do not want to be in that boat ever again.  It is like a damned if you do and damned if you don't scenario. Besides, the guy can always deny it especially if you only have words to back it up.  All I am saying is it is best to get evidence and show it straight to the guy that you cannot lie because you have proof. At that time, I wanted to take a picture but my camera phone back then did not cooperate.  I almost fell down the stairs following them just so I could take a picture. Hehehe! You see my friend and I made a pact back then that if ever we would see each other's man fooling around, we will tell immediately even if it hurts. So I just  kept my end of the bargain.  Anyways, she ended up with the one who is truly made for her and I am so glad she does not have to go down that road again.

My Mutterings For The Week

It is already the middle of the week and don't you feel how the days just seem to fly by?  I am not decided on whether I am glad or scared that the days are faster now.  Anyways, here are my mutterings for the week.

Nervous About Leaving My Daughter Behind

I am actually kind of nervous when it comes to giving birth. It has been a long time.  Plus, the fact that I would have to leave my daughter behind for several days makes me more apprehensive. I do not want to leave her behind. That is why I am packing her clothes too.  So my bag is already filled up with her clothes only that is why I have to look for my husband's luggage and I hope that it will fit all of our things.  I actually told my husband what about our daughter? He jokingly told me this morning that when I give birth and sedated that is the time when he will bring my daughter to school and fetch her again just in time when I am about to wake up. Hehehe! Anyways, worst case scenario I would have to leave her behind I would love to install hidden spy cameras in our room so in a way I can still watch over her for the days when I will not be able to be with her.  I will be bringing my laptop for my blog updates so I can check up on her.

I am hoping (and praying) that the most number of days I will stay at the hospital is 3 days but I am packing for 5 (just in case). Hay!  The problem is if my daughter is absent for 5 days in school I would have to present a medical certificate that she has been sick.  I do not think the fact that I will give birth is a valid reason for her to be absent since she can be brought and fetched to school in some other way.  I will have to check her student's handbook but I think the allowable number of days without a medical certificate is 3 days.

Different Sets Of Meds

Do you know that I am drinking 5 different sets of medicines now? It can really get confusing. Some I am required to drink 3 times a day. While I have another set which I am required to drink twice a day and then I have my daily vitamins prescribed to me by my OB.  All in all, my husband is spending a fortune just buying me my meds and vitamins.Hehehe!

I will tell you all about it tomorrow as soon as I get my sleep. I am so sleepy I can barely keep my eyes open.  It is not surprising since I have been out the whole day (literally).

Since I have given up on my job which I had for more than 2 years, I am already researching on ways to make money online. I am kind of nervous about it actually because I have been working and earning ever since I graduated from college but now I will have to depend on my husband for things that I need and want.  I do not think I want that. Things Happen For A Reason

It was one scary ride going to my daughter's school this morning.  It was a good thing that hubby was with us. If he wasn't, I do not know what I would have done.  It felt and sounded like one of the rear wheels (on the right side) will fall off.  Scary! After we brought our daughter to her school, we proceeded (slowly) to the car repair shop to get it fixed right away.  It was a full day ahead for me because I had to go to Makati for another check-up and hubby wanted to make sure that the car that I use is safe for me and my daughters (counting the one inside me).  Hehehe! So we had the broken piece replaced ( the bearing of the car ===> wheel was shattered specifically on the right side), went home, ate breakfast and took a bath. Afterwards, we proceeded to my daughter's school to fetch her and went straight to my doctor since I am number one on the list.

I am just thankful that hubby was with us. It was not planned because last night I told him that I would be okay driving my daughter to school since I do not have any plans of going back home this morning.  But since my daughter woke up late, hubby opted to be the one to drive my daughter to school.

I really believe that things happen for a reason and this is one of those instances that makes me believe that statement.

A Few Of My Favorite Things

I love to wear diamond rings. Hehehe! It is classic and you can wear them with anything. They are the perfect accessory. These days I wear the ring that my mom gave me. It looks like one of those engagement rings that you see but it is from my mom. Sometimes I wear the one that hubby gave me but I prefer to use the one that is given to me by my mom. It comforts me especially since my delivery date is near. If my mom can give birth to 7 kids, I can give birth to my second child right? As much as I want to give birth as soon as possible, I am also quite scared to be honest with you. I am afraid of needles and I am especially afraid of going under the knife. Yes, I will be having another c-section. I have lots of fears but I can't show them or express them out loud, especially to my daughter because I know that she has her own apprehensions. So I tell her that it will be okay.. I know I will be okay and the baby too.

Anyway, I hope that hubby is thinking of giving me something in line with some kind of jewelry, as a prize for giving birth because I deserve it! I had a very difficult pregnancy and I know the recovery period is not going to be easy as well. Lol!  The past is already in the past and we should already look forward to the future. With an extra million bucks coming from out of nowhere I will be able to look forward to it.  Hahaha!

Preparing For Things To Come

I am only have a few weeks left before I give birth and we are so excited.  In fact, I am already fixing the things that we will be bringing to the hospital.  I do not know if I am overpacking or what but my daughter's things have already filled up the bag that I am planning to use. Maybe I should use a luggage or something so we will be using just one bag.  Anyways, one the things that I should not forget to bring is a camera.   Although, I have to check first before it has been a long time since we used our Canon camera.  I wonder if it is still working.  The ones that we always use are our camera phones so we do not have to bring lots of stuff with us whenever we go out.  I am checking out this company where I can camera hire. I do not even know before this day that such a thing exists.  This is truly convenient. I will definitely tell hubby about them so we do not have to worry about buying a new camera or a video camera because we can video camera hire too or at the very least we can just canon lens hire so we can still use our canon camera.  

This reminds me we can camcorder hire for my daughter's upcoming concert at her school. Haha! I am excited and I hope that I will not give birth by then.  My daughter requested that I schedule it after the concert. Lol!
