Hooked
I am so hooked in Boys Over Flowers. But one thing I have noticed is they are not fond of wearing jewelries. If they wore more designer jewelry pieces, maybe they will "wow" their audiences more. Customer designers of television series should look into holsted jewelry to enhance the production design, costumes, etc. of their actors. So the character that they portray are more believable. That is what I like about this other television series that I am so into every night, one of the characters always wear fashionable clothes with fascinating jewelry pieces that always fit the clothes that she is wearing. I am sure she gets some of her jewelries at holsted.

Coveting Google Android Phone
I love my phone. I no longer bring my lappy with me unlike before when I lug it with me all the time. Now, I just bring my e71 and I am good to go. Whenever I am out and if there is free wi-fi, I check my email. If I have nothing to do while waiting, I write my articles. I take pictures with it. I sometimes even blog with it. But the thing is and the only problem that I have with it is its memory. I plan to upgrade it to 8 or was it 16 (i forgot) mb but I haven't found one yet. In fact, I have already stopped looking.
Anyways, I know I should stop looking at other phones since I am quite content with my phone. But I could not help it. I just love google android phone services! In fact, I believe it is not just me because there are already 350 million people that use the Android phone platform in the UK and the USA. In fact, it is so popular that the services and applications will also be available to 300 million Chinese at http://AndroidStorage.cn. Do check it out if you have the time.
For me, the reason why I am coveting this phone is the fact that there is an Android Storage feature. What it does is it stores files (all kinds of it) without using the phone's actual memory card. The Android storage has a virtual and unlimited memory space for all android phones. How cool is that?! Now do you understand why I am dreaming of having a Google android phone too?

Our Last Hurrah For The Summer
Summer is almost over. Although it seems to be back because of the unbearable heat this week. I have been experiencing headaches lately and I really think it is because of the heat. There are times when I can barely think. Anyways, last monday my husband did not go to work so after my daughter's class at 3 pm, we went swimming. Since it was a monday there were only a trinkle of people at the resort. What can I say? My daughter really had fun. She even made a couple of friends. She would leave us and go with her friends. Since she had her floaters we were comfortable enough to watch her from afar (although not that far).
Sorry no pictures since we did decided not to bring out any valuables because we had every intention of swimming. Thus, nobody was left behind at the cottage to watch over our stuff. I cannot risk it! I have Las Vegas Show Tickets in one of the pockets of my bag. I would regret it forever if I lose it.

With Honors
Asbestos is a concern by people who work in ships, ship building, construction and others. Asbestos is toxic. One of the effects of being exposed to it is mesothelioma. Do you know that asbestos has been banned since the '80s? The exposure to it is that dangerous.
I was first exposed to the condition during the 90s because one of my favorite film of all time is "With Honors". I used to watch it all the time with my sisters. Simon Wilder, played by Joe Pesci, had lung problems because of Asbestos. He was terminally ill and wanted to make amends with his son before he dies and he was helped by Brendan Fraser to do that. I loved the film because aside from emphasizing graduating from college with honors, it also emphasized how one should be able to graduate from life with honors too. A classic film indeed that every student should watch.
Anyways, just like Simon Wilder because he was helped by Brendan get the proper compensation that he was entitled to, there are Mesothelioma Lawyers that you can get in touch with if you are dealing with the problem. You are supposed to get compensation if you are a victim of asbestos poisoning. You do not have to deal with the problem on your own. Get help.

Back To School
Well, as I would tell this blog time and again, I am thinking of going back to school and learn another course. These days it is best to be well-equipped and to be well-certified so one will be able to be able to shift from one career to the next without any qualms. Besides, have you noticed how the price of tuition fees are skyrocketing for children? I am sure my husband will need every help he can get especially since we plan to send our daughter to the best school we can afford. Besides, she deserves it. She has been doing quite well in all of her classes that we feel she deserves the chance to study in one of the best schools in the metro. That is why as early as now we are already preparing for the tuition fee for school year 2010-2011. That is the time when she will transfer to a big school. The only schools we are considering have a 6-digit annual tuition fee. So I am really hoping that we will be able to afford it. Afford in terms of not sacrificing other areas of our life. Hahaha! Although I know if ever we do, it will be worth it.
Anyways, since all of our educational savings will go to my daughter, I am only considering affordable ones for myself. That is why I am leaning towards Affordable Business Analysis Course. It is only for 6 weeks which only happens twice a week either during lunch or early evening. It is expected to have assignments, quizzes, flashcards and CBAP exam simulation. It will only cost me $600. Not bad considering that it is the lowest compared to other training organizations on the same subject. The best thing about it is aside from the learning of course, is I will be able to receive a certificate which will prove not only to myself but to others what I have learned which makes me equip to what I am planning to do. Yey!

YC Fellowship
We went to church this morning and came back around 5 pm. The fellowship after the sunday service lasted around 3 hours. Good thing my daughter had other kids to play with. Anyways, I liked the topic that was discussed. It was about Marriage in The Modern World. Each person shared his and her experiences on the subtopics mentioned. We were all laughing at first but then when A asked the last question and when I shared what my husband and I experienced recently (as my answer to that last question) and then I started crying, I noticed that almost everybody cried with me. I can't be specific on what happened. Let me just say that I would not buy any Baby Bedding any time soon. Even if I wanted to. Although, things happen for a reason and maybe this is not the right time. But I hope that it will happen soon because the truth is my daughter really wants to have a baby brother and a baby sister. She tells everybody that she meets that I am already with child even if I am not. So I am hoping for her sake. Haha! Of course, my husband and I really want to have another kid soon too.
Anyways, I am just happy that we were able to attend the fellowship for this month. It has been like a year or so since my last fellowship.

Swimming - Check! School Items - Check!
I am happy to announce that we were able take our daughter swimming today. Since the weather is so erratic, we decided to go to Ace Water Spa because aside from the indoor pools, the water is warm too. So we woke up at 6 and brought my sleeping child to the car at 7. When she woke up she told us how happy she was. She wanted to go swimming for the longest time. In fact, one of my plans for her this summer was for her to take swimming lessons. But due to the ear infection her doctor forbade it for a time. She lifted the ban after a month of monitoring her ear but we gave it another month just to be on the safe side.
After wards, we went to the mall because we could not decide where we want to eat. We hopped from one restaurant to the next because my daughter and I were not in sync when it came to what our stomachs want. So since we were at the mall already we were able to buy her some school items for the coming school year. So she got herself a new pair of school shoes, a couple of handkerchiefs, shirts, socks, etc. The funny thing was there was a sale but the items that she liked were not on sale. So much for saving huh.
Since we were all tired from swimming and there were just too many people at the mall, we decided to go home after. I was not planning on going home immediately since I was looking for a Silence & Noise skirt amongst other things for myself. But there's always tomorrow.

Reward Yourself
I just got back from Bonifacio High Street. I was able to meet up with two of my old friends, S & G. S brought along her kids so my daughter was able to play with S the whole afternoon. We spent the whole afternoon just talking while the children played. It was fun catching up with old friends and time really flies so fast when you are having fun so when we checked it was already dark outside. Since we were so cold at the bookstore we went outside so the children can run around the area. Before I knew it, it was already 8 pm and it was time go.
As much as I had fun with them, I realized that I was not able to check out the stores. I was really planning to do a little shopping to reward myself for all the hard work I was doing. Tsk! Tsk! I was looking forward to buying a couple of items for myself and that includes a pair of shoes. I was actually looking for a Lanvin pump or something similar to that. This is a sort of my mother' gift to myself. I know I deserve it!
To all you mothers out there, you deserve a little something on special occasions. It is important to make yourself happy even when it is just a pair of shoes or a trip to the spa.

Learning New Things
I am so busy with my online tasks that I barely get enough sleep. But that does not stop me from learning all that I can about pc tools. There is a site where you can learn about it too. It is called PC Tools Together. As a brief background, PC tools are important to a blogger because it supports community translation.
If you want to learn about it, just like me, check it out and participate in the beta review. It will be able to explain everything you want to learn about pc tools. These days you have to encourage yourself to continue learning and improve your crafts and your skills.

Saturday 9: With A Little Help From My Friends
1. How many of your friendships have lasted more than ten years? Around 15
2. Which of your current friends do you feel will still be important to you ten years from now? All of them (high school friends, a few college friends and a couple of my friends at the office I used to work at before)
3. It's Friday evening and you're planning your weekend. What's on your agenda? I want to finish all of the pending tasks this weekend. On Sunday though, since it is my sister's birthday we will celebrate it by bowling and eating.
4. What was the most recent movie to scare you or give you the creeps? Hmm I haven't watched any in a while.. but the last scary movie that I watched (although it did not really scare me) was Quarantine. I wanted to watch the Haunting in Connecticut but I was not able to. Boo!
5. Finally, the new cast and movie of Star Trek are out. Excited or indifferent? Indifferent but heard that it is really good even from non-trek fans.
6. Do you have any nervous habits? yes
7. Do you swear in general? no but I do sometimes especially when I am driving and I am caught by surprise
8. Do you swear on your blog? no but I sometimes do when I am really mad about something. It does not stay long on my blog though because I erase it after wards
9. Does it bother you when you read a post with curse words? not really

Leaving Us For Good
The nanny of my daughter just told me and my daughter this morning that she will leave us on June 6. She will be going home to the province, back to her mom whom she misses very much. As much as I want her to stay, because she really has been a big help to me and she has been a great companion to my daughter, I can't because she already mentioned this to us when we hired her last year. It is hard to get reliable and trustworthy help these days. Good thing I am a stay-at-home mom so I can watch over my daughter while it's just the two of us. Imagine the dilemma I used to have when I was still working at an office?! We used to leave my daughter to my in-laws every morning and fetch her at night. Now, it is more of an inconvenience than anything else. I know I can manage. Besides, my daughter is 4 already. It is not as if she is 2 and needs constant monitoring all the time.
Anyways, back to the nanny of my daughter, I doubt if she will need to contact any Moving Company to help her haul her things to the province. I have to ask her though just to be sure.

Becoming A Certified Hacker
If there is one thing that I would like to learn how to do, it is to hack. Don't worry as I am not going to hack any of the sites illegally. I just want to understand how it's done so I can protect myself more. You all know how I work online right? So most of my transactions are online, including money transactions. Thus, in order to protect yourself, you have to learn how its done. Actually, if I get really good at it, I can probably help companies tighten their IT Security and probably get hired to do exactly that. I know of a lot of companies who would hire people who knows all about ethical hacking. I could get paid a lot! Company owners would pay a lot of money for this.
So if you want to earn more, just like me, you can learn about Ethical Hacking, security fundamentals, penetration testing, computer forensics, disaster recovery and secured programming. I am sure my husband is going to be interested too since he is already in IT and be a Certified Ethical Hacker too.
All it takes is to enroll at iclass EC-Council. It is that easy. The classes are all online so you can easily fit it into your schedule.

Saturday 9: Settling The Score
1. Do you feel that you have “a score to settle” with anyone? Hmmm none but only because I think the past should be left in the past.
2. Do you own anything that you think is unbreakable? None. All material things are temporary.
3. Tell us about a crazy thing you did in high school. I wasn't too crazy back in my high school. You see when I was in high school I felt I was in grade school, there really wasnt any room to do any craziness back then. I had more space when I was in college. But to answer number 3, the craziest thing I did in high school was I attempted to skip class and school just to see if I could. You have to know the school to realize that any attempt would be impossible. My friends and I even tried to hitch a ride with one of the parents who brought his kid to school. That was only one time. Of course, it did not work so I knew that I couldn't and that answered my question (or my challenge to myself).
4. Name the one talent of yours that you think is the best. I don't think I have one... oh no! Blogging probably. is that a talent? LOL!
5. Who wins American Idol? (if you don’t watch, tell us about a reality show that you do follow.) Definitely my fave, Danny Gokey!
6. What is your favorite movie in black & white? Any old movie that starred Nida Blanca, Dolphy and Gloria Romero.
7. What is one thing advertised too much on TV? Those damn politicians.
8. What is your current favorite TV drama? Definitely Tayong Dalawa. The only tv series that I watch.
9. What is your current favorite TV comedy? Friends (still) and How I Met Your Mother
For other saturday niners.

Too Rich
I was watching this showbiz talk show that is featured every night when it reported on this specific tv host that bought a wide space of land to build his studio and mall. The studio is going to be inside the mall I think. This particular tv host has so many properties, real estate, cars, yachts and others that I am sure he is not able to check on all of them properly. Maybe somebody should tell him about Real Property Management so somebody gets to manage his properties. I guess him and Manny Paquiao are in the same boat. They have too many properties that somebody should already oversee it. It is such a waste when you see good investments that are not taken care of. Oh well. It is their business, not mine.
