Labor Day Mall-Wide Sale Scheduled Tomorrow

There are so many sales tomorrow because its labor day. I want to go and buy some things that my daughter needs for the coming school year, some new clothes and shoes for her too. I also want to buy some personal items for myself such as a Simone Perele bra. But the hassle of looking for a parking slot and actually finding one will be next to impossible unless we go there two hours before the mall even opens. Sales and stress go together. I am not actually a person who caters to sales. I feel that it is not worth it. Plus, the discounts given are not that much. Well, here in the Philippines that is. I even know of a shoe store that actually increase the price tag on the shoes sold during sales and the discounted price is actually the real price. That's why I am not much of a believer in sales. Plus I tend to buy more which is not really practical since my husband just paid for my daughter's tuition fee. So the belt has to be tightened just a wee bit.

I actually prefer online shopping now. There is no hassle. You can pay online. The items bought are delivered right to your door step. Plus, I would rather not go to crowded places because of what's happening recently in Mexico, United States, Canada and others. You can never be too careful.

Yesterday, my high school friends and I were able to meet. Anyways, all of us are already married with at least one kid each except for one, A. She is the only who is not married and does not even seem to have a special someone. My other friend R asked for guy referrals for our single friend. I do not seem to know anybody who is single and available at the moment. Maybe A should consider online dating, just like this miami singles dating site. Meeting My Friends

My friends and I were able to see each other yesterday. It was fun to catch up on each others lives. High school seemed so far away now but the friendship that we developed back then was so strong that it brings us even closer now. The only problems that we had back then were school assignments, quizzes and school projects. Now, we are concerned with schooling of our own children, getting pregnant again and so many others. Those were definitely the days.

This got me thinking maybe I should plan a get together with my college friends. The last time I saw them was around 5 years ago, more or less. I wonder how my friend R is doing now. She used to be problematic back then. she seemed to carry the world on her shoulders. Family problems will do that to you. Last I heard she was moving out of their place and into her own apartment. She even asked me if I knew any moving company, just like a Boston Moving Company, that she could hire to haul her things carefully and she wanted her things to move out as fast as possible. she did not have a lot of stuff but those that she had she cared for it very much.

Hmmm. The problem is even if I want to plan a get together or a reunion, I no longer have their contact numbers and I do not even know where they are now. I should try facebook first. Maybe they have it too.

It Is So Hot!

These days it is so unbearably hot that I am sure a lot of people have been using their air conditioning units. You can even fry an egg on the sidewalk. In fact you can make an omelet if you wish. Actually, my plurk friends have been attesting how they use it more now even when they are concerned with the electricity costs. They are already dreading next month's electricity bills. Plus, they are even considering on buying new units because the old ones do not seem to be able to keep up with the heat. Electric fans are no longer effective as they seem to blow warm air and it tends to magnify the heat and worsen the condition. I hope that this season will end soon as I do not really blame homeowners who use their cooling systems more.

Summer Fun For My Mom

My mom is on vacation and I think she won't be back until the end of next month. I wonder how she will pay for her credit card that is due usually on the first week of the month. I am thinking of whether I should pay for it first since she is an extension of my card. She is the only one who uses that card. In fact, I never use it and the only reason why I got it in the first place so she could have a card that she could use. But as we all know, the Collection Agency would not even recognize that and I am sure if the payment is only a few days late, agents will hound the principal owner of the card and that is me. Oh well, better pay for it myself because I could never deal with collection agencies. They are rude and insolent. That is why I make sure that I make my payments on time.

I hope she logs on at ym soon because I have lots of things to tell her. My dad and I were chatting just the other day and he said that my mom is always at the mall checking out stuffs. That is what she does whenever she is there. She is always at malls and outlet stores and walmart. She gets giddy when she sees a Walmart store. So I know she is having a great summer! She deserves it.

Get In Touch With Yamaha ASAP

I had my share of minor vehicular accidents. Even if it would just involve a gutter or a parked motorcycle, it will still leave me shaken. I do not want to cause myself or anybody else harm especially if I am the one behind the wheel. Aside from destruction of other people's property, it would be especially hard for me to know that I caused them some kind of pain whether physical or psychological. This is the reason why I think motorcycle drivers should be more careful on the road. Some of them think they own the road when a little mistake can cause them their lives. They have so little protection that they should not be careless and yet they are the ones that are the most careless.

Anyways, I also found out that Yamaha has recalled their Yamaha Rhino Rollover because of the roll over risk. People who already have them should contact their yamaha dealers immediately because the vehicle is unstable and it has caused many serious injuries to drivers and their passengers. The fact that the vehicles do not come with doors is a sign that it is dangerous. So get in touch with Yamaha and refrain from using your roll over before it crushes your leg or your passenger's leg.

Feng Shui Tips Online

My daughter and I have been spending a lot of our time in book stores. In fact, I sometimes let her browse through rows and rows of children's books while I check out the books that are more my age. When it comes to toys I am now more discerning but when it comes to books I let her buy what she wants. However, when it comes to me, even when its books I do not buy it immediately. I check with one of my online groups if they have a ebook copy of the book that I want to read. Just like this batch of feng shui ebooks that I would like to get my hands on which is why I am thankful I stumbled upon feng-shuidoctrine.com because I can get a copy of the ebooks that I want. Plus, they have articles on secret doctrines and tips on how to change my life for the best. We all need all the help we can get when it comes to living.

Working Hard and Playing Hard

Money is hard to come by these days. That is why I now think twice before spending for anything that is not really on my "need" list. Although, there are times when I let my guard down especially when I feel sad or when my daughter has been very good. These are the times when I surprise ourselves with gifts. I can always justify the expenses with my husband. Lol!

Although, there are times when I have to work hard for my purchases. Right now, there is this really expensive thing that I plan to buy for my daughter. My husband has not given his approval yet but if I will be successful with my recent venture, I am sure he will say yes. That is why I am studying all that I can about iron condor. It will bring me big bucks!

Wish me luck!

Back And Ready

Just got back from my in-laws place. It sure was filling and my daughter had so much fun playing with her cousins. I had a chance to do just a part of one project that I had with my phone so at least I was able to accomplish one thing or rather half a thing. Still yey for me!

Sad thing though, I had to ask my husband and daughter if we could leave earlier than what was usual because I had lots (as in LOTS) of things to do.

The night is going to be very long but I am not complaining. :)

Shedding Some Light On Web Hosting

I have finally gotten around to getting a domain for my other blog, my fashion blog. The reason I did was because I was inspired by web hosting geeks and they really helped me a lot by shedding a lot of light on web hosting services. If you are interested to know, I got Go Daddy. I went with the largest website hosting provider. I am a frequent visitor of webhostinggeeks.com and it really helped me decide whether to get that particular blog of mine its own domain even if it means letting go of a pagerank 3. To tell you honestly, it was really hard for me to let go of that because I worked hard for it. But I know I did the right thing. Another problem that I had then was there were so many website hosts to choose from, it was hard to choose just one. Besides I did not want to get one that will give me headache later on. Thus, my choice.

Actually, I am also considering getting this blog its own domain too. But with this one, since this is my first blog ever. I am more careful with it due to sentimental reasons which is why I am thinking of getting this blog a premium domain. This is my most favorite blog after all. I am really thinking about it and the blog of web hosting geeks has provided me with very useful information about it. Getting a premium domain means it will be more expensive than the regular one but then I know it will all be worth it in the long run.

If you are also considering of getting your blogs their own domains and getting confused in the process, read up first. Check out webhostinggeeks.com. You will emerge enlightened and knowledgeable when it comes to web hosting.

Waiting On The Sidelines

While waiting for their next and final performance, my husband took pictures of my daughter and her classmates. These are the pictures that I found so adorable. They were so well-behaved just sitting on the sidelines or maybe they were just sleepy because these kids are not used to waking up early. No, my husband is not part of the nursery class. Haha!

Busy On A Holiday

I am rushing everything because I have a lot of things that I NEED to finish today. I thought I would have extra hours but then my sister-in-law called this morning to say that we were invited to have dinner at my mother-in-law's place tonight. Suffice to say that I will lose a couple of hours that I have been banking on to finish my other tasks. This means only one thing sleep is not an option tonight.

Anyways, before I forget I should start by looking for resources on gold coins. One of the buyers that I have is looking for reliable sources of gold, silver and even platinum. Good thing I know about Monaco Rare Coin and Monex family of companies. They are the only company to contact when a person is looking for precious metals and rare coins.

First Graduation Certificate And Award

After the performance, each child was called to get the certificate and the award. One parent was asked to accompany the child to the stage. My husband was the one who went with my daughter. I was so proud when she shook the hand of the school's directress.

She got the Incredible Growth Award because she showed much promise academically and psychologically and the fact that she was able to adapt and adjust to different classroom environment.

Good job ches!

Get Help

Addiction is a problem and the thing is it could be anything. It could be drugs. It could be playing computer games. It could be smoking. It could even be sex addiction. Like what I have said, it is a problem.

Good thing there are organizations that help deal with these problems. One of them is xxxchurch.com. It is a Christian organization that deals directly with those who are affected with pornography. If you have any problems in this area, try to get some help. There are people who are willing to help you. In fact, it is their cause and life long mission to do that. So get help because it can be helped.

Their Own Version of We Are All In This Together

My daughter's class graduation performance was a Kidstech rendition of "We Are All In This Together" song of High School Musical 1. So my daughter pretty much knows the song. I found this so entertaining because there was a part when all the kids were shouting Kidstech! Kidstech! My daughter was really trying so hard to dance that I give her kudos for doing her best. She always does her best in whatever it is she is doing at the moment. This is what I have noticed this past year.

Good job!

Check out the video.

After their performance, they were called for a class picture. Better pictures will be uploaded soon because the school will give pictures on each of the child during the moving up day. It was scheduled for release next week, after Holy Week.

Wishing For A Vacation

Like I said, we have no plans of going anywhere for the next few days because of the traffic and there are just too many people that I know we will not be able to enjoy ourselves. But that does not mean that I do not wish to be somewhere else rather than here in front of my laptop, at home. I could still be in front of my laptop but at the beach right?! Lol!

What I wouldn't give to be in an Adults Only All Inclusive Resorts right now? Although I could only take it for just a few days, 2 days max! I know I will be missing my daughter so much that I would wish I was back home after 2 days.

Updates, Updates!

Yes, you can expect updates from me this week because we do not have any plans of going anywhere. Hahaha! Who wants to go to a resort when all the people are there? It will only stress us out. Plus the traffic is pretty horrible.

So when I have nothing to do, I blog! LOL! Actually, I still have lots of projects to finish but I have already resolved to blog. So expect updates from me.

Missing Mom

We haven't been to our parent's other house for quite some time now. Maybe it is the fact that my mom is on a vacation and will not be back for more than a month. You should see her kitchen. She has an amazing kitchen which is why it is no wonder that she always cooks when she is there and when we are around.

Anyways, I am thinking of giving her this dark stripe serpentine walnut cutting board as a welcome home gift when she gets back. I also saw some great wood furniture, a dining table set, that would be perfect for that house. The price is kinda steep but it is made out of oak. So it is worth it. I wonder if my parents would be interested in it? Hmm. I better go and ask my dad.

My Daughter's Moving Up Day Part 1

Well, my daughter graduated from nursery level last month. The school rented out one of the movie houses at Blue Wave to accommodate all parents. Although, we were only given 3 tickets per students which means 3 people were only allowed to accommodate each student. We all know that families come in full force whenever there is an occasion that involves a child.

When the ceremonies started, each class was called to do a little performance, sort-of like an introduction of who they are. So it was like...an emcee calls each class, for ex. Nursery Helpful! Then all the kids from that class would line up and dance a bit. Then the next class was called.

This part was really funny because my daughter was really dancing her heart out. Just check out the pictures, some of the kids looked lost but not my daughter as she was dancing.

Yes, my daughter is the tallest girl in class. :)

My Plans

I am really contemplating on going back to school because there is this career that I would want to try out but I am only considering something online. The reason why I let go of a career that held much promise (I was just promoted when I resigned) was because I wanted to be with my with my daughter every minute of the day. I wanted to be what my mom was to me... always available. Thus, my career took a back seat and it was okay because this is what I have always wanted to be. Since my daughter started schooling, I am left by myself for 3 hours per day and I found myself missing her that made me think of going back to school myself. Anyways, there are a couple of schools that I am already checking out. The only requirement that I need (actually two) is it has to offer an online degree and classes would have to be online.

This blog post is based on the information provided by blogitive.com. For more information, please visit blogitive.com.

Back To The End Of The Line

Even if it's hot most of the time because of the erratic weather that we have, I require my daughter to bring a sweater or a jacket most of the time. Like what I have previously blogged about, my daughter was diagnosed with nocturnal asthma. Thus, any changes in the weather will bring about coughs and colds that will eventually turn to asthma.

And because she has to wear them, sometimes I bring myself a sweater too. Although, I prefer something light because I seldom get cold anyways. I usually prefer something like a J. Crew sweatshirt. Have you seen the basic boyfriend sweater that has just arrived? It is so comfy. In fact, I think I have something like that in my closet. I hope it still fits me.

Anyways, this is what I love about the world wide web because when there is something new that is out, we can all learn about it and buy it if we like it. However, I am gaining weight again so shopping has to take a pause for awhile until I get my groove back on. I was doing so well a couple of weeks ago. I do not know what happened! Thus, all my old clothes would have to go back to the end of the line, or rather, at the back of the clothes cabinet.

Easy Mazes And Coloring

I know I have a lot of back posts so let me start with this. My daughter finished her book of coloring and easy mazes last month that she earned two more certificates.

She is also almost through with the books that came after these two that we are excited to buy the next batch of work books. How time flies!

My Birthing Experience (A Little Too Late)

My sister and I were discussing our birthing experiences a couple of weeks ago. We compared the most painful parts and the easier parts of giving birth. I told her that for me the painful part was the fact that it took me so long. I was in labor for 30 hours! By the middle of it, I was no longer aware of anything. I was in so much pain and so very tired. I felt I was in limbo. I was half-asleep and half-awake. I could not wake myself up even if I wanted to. I did not even feel when the resident doctor placed a catheter on me. I was that tired. The next thing I knew I was in the recovery room and my daughter was no longer inside me. I gave birth via c-section. Everything that I planned to happen didn't. I even attended all those childbirth classes with my husband because I wanted to do it without any anesthesia at all. It just goes to show that you can never really tell the future.

Anyways, my daughter is 4 years old today and I hope to have another baby soon. I would do the 30-hour labor bit just to have another one.

On another note, I know I am lucky because all medical supplies that we need are always available for us. This just goes to show that it is important to have a reliable retailer when it comes to medical equipment such as Allegro Medical.

Sunday Stealing: Third Meme On Blogging

Sunday Stealing: Our Third Meme About Blogging

1. How did you come up with your blog title OR what does it mean? When I was in grade school there was a tv series called my so called life and it was starred by Claire Danes. I was so into that defunct show that I used M-S-C-F as my passwod and it broke my heart that it ended after season 1.

2. What are your general goals for blogging? I just want to blog about what I want when I want.

3. Do people “in your real life” know that you blog and do they comment on your blog OR is it largely anonymous? Yes they do but they seldom comment. In fact they check my blogs for announcements in the family.
How often do you post (x per week)? Before I used to blog at least once a day. Now I am lucky if I can post every other day.

4. How often do you read other blogs (x per week)? As often as I can.

5. How do you select blogs to read (do you prefer blogs that focus on certain topics or do you choose by tone or…?) I always read the blogs of people I admire.

6. Do you have any plans to copy your blog entries in any other format, 0r do you think that one day, you’ll just delete it all? I will never delete my blog. I hope to keep it forever. Hopefully, my daughter will be able to understand me more by reading my blogs and know that my world revolves around her. .. And also future descendants (long after I have gone) will be able to know me by reading my blogs.

7. What are the things you like best about blogging? The fact that I can write about anything I want and also I have met a lot of good people through them.

8. What are the things you don’t like about blogging? The fact that people judge me without knowing me, pr spanking, being transparent and there is this one thing that really bothers me but I can't say why due to obvious reasons or not. Basta. LOL!

9. How do you handle comments? Right now I am screening them because of spam.

10. Do you have any burning thoughts to share on blog etiquette? If you can, avoid saying negative about a person or an event because you can never tell if that person reads your blogs. Plus, if you can, do try to revisit those who visit your blog because page visits are important to a blogger.

11. Any desired blog features? I am a simple person with a simple blog. It is enough for me.

12. Have you suffered blog addiction? Yes.
