As busy as I am, I still have the time to make a community aggregator. I called it my sahmmy.feedcluster.com. It looks like a google reader but it is so much more than that as you will be able to develop a community with blog owners that have the same interest as yours. If any of you out there are blog aggregators, please do not forget to add my blog. It took me only a few seconds to sign up. It is that easy. I hope that my community will grow as well. I actually plan to do this for all of my blogs. Hehe. If you do not know by now, having an aggregator, helps your blog to gain more viewers and it is a chance to link your blog to others and have them link their blog to yours but in a much more higher level.
Don't forget to add me to your community!

Sunny Weather All The Time
I have been to Arizona once and from what I can remember the weather was very warm. It is nice to have constant weather for once. That is what you can expect from Arizona. Sunny weather and the sunny disposition of the people who reside there which is probably the reason why more and more people are checking out Arizona homes. I don't blame them if I lived in the USA I would probably reside there just because the weather is close to home.

Still Trying
We have been trying for a baby for a couple of months now. We have already consulted with my doctor and she has already prescribed a couple of medicines that I am taking now. Hopefully, we will get pregnant before the end of the year.
Sometimes I would think that maybe we are not ready to become parents the second time around just yet or maybe my daughter is not ready to share us with or she is not ready to become an elder sister. It is hard to become one. You would have to be responsible for another person's well-being other than your own. But most of the time she would ask for a sister or a brother. I would hear her pray at night asking for one. It is hard to be an only child because you do not have anybody to play with. She has many cousins but it is still different and I could not even think not having my sisters to play around with when I was young.
Anyways, even if I am not pregnant yet, nothing is going to stop me from browsing through pregnancy items. So I will already have an idea what to get during pregnancy and even after I give birth. I will probably call it a gurgle pregnancy because I will probably be at gurgle most of the time. Actually , I am there all the time checking out mum health, fertility, another baby and other topics that they have. It is an awesome sight!

My Daughter's First Attempt At Ice Skating
My daughter and I tried our skills at ice skating one weekday afternoon. Actually, this is what we did after her final exams. I tried it only once before when I was still single and that was errrr.. a couple of years ago. We had our share of falls (MINE ESPECIALLY). My daughter was super careful as she was really making sure that she would not fall down except during those times when snow seems to fall down from the ceiling of megamall, she would leave me behind as she would rush towards the center.
Since she will not be able to take swimming lessons because of what happened to her ear. To be blogged about later. I was thinking of enrolling her in ice skating lessons instead but I know it is going to be super expensive as I would prefer her to have her own ice skates, plus lessons and the outfits! There are a number of super cute outfits I could buy for her. I am deciding whether I should just enroll her in ballet again (which is cheaper because she already has the ballet outfits and the ballet shoes) or ice skating or one other activity.
I will let you guys know. She already has two lessons that we enrolled her in to keep her occupied. I am thinking of one more... so it will either be ballet, ice skating (or gymnastics). Any more and she will be burned out. LOL! Anyways, when I was young I wanted to learn gymnastics but it just did not happen.
Here are a couple of pics and a video taken during that time.

My Daughter And My Accessories
Unlike me, my daughter loves to accessorize. Last night, we went to the dinner party of her cousin Micki's graduation and she chose to wear my pearl earrings. Can you believe that? She was wearing a white ensemble and she finished it off with the pearl earrings. She was also the one who chose the accessories that she wore to complete her graduation outfit. At 4, she knows how to take care of my stuff as I always remind her to be careful with it because she is wearing real gold (white or yellow) and sometimes even diamonds. I see her being careful with it and so my trust is building every time she returns my jewelry pieces. Right now, I do not give her any jewelries yet because she is not old enough, so I just let her wear mine sometimes. There was a time when we gave her a couple of pieces but she lost them and so I decided to wait a little while longer.
Anyways, I am sure she would love to own a Caesar's Designs ring. I am sure she would take care of it very carefully. I am already excited what outfits she would pair it with. This piece I can give because it is made out of sterling silver with a cultured pearl in the center.

Friday Fill-In

My first time here goes....
1. "In a hole in the ground there lived a mole rat."
2. "Sometimes love is painful but that ain't no matter."
3. "After dark the rain began to fall again, but after the rain comes the rainbow."
4. "Gold is found from the hold of the Spanish galleon."
5. "There was a hand in the darkness, and it held me up."
6. "Accidents ambush the unsuspecting, prey."
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to sleep, tomorrow my plans include a parents' orientation seminar and Sunday, I want to give thanks to the Lord and hear mass!
Stalking Busted Moms
I have been hit hard by the global economic crisis. It does not show but to be honest I have felt the difference. Although even if we had to tighten our belts and our wallets and be a little more extra careful when it comes to our expenses, we are still living a comfortable life. We are still eating three times a day, sometimes more. We still eat out whenever we want to. I can still shop sometimes but I have already cut back. I only buy what is needed at the moment. Although, my husband would always argue my definition of need and want. He understands though that the only outlet I have left is shopping. He is okay with it as long as I do not overspend.
One of the best ways NOT to overspend and to justify spendings are if I were to buy items on sale. I could easily justify that I was able to spend only this when the price is supposed to be this much. It is much easier that way. Just like right now, Sears is offering 75%-80% discount to fall and winter apparel. The sale will be up until the 18th of April. My sister and her family might be needing a couple of the fall apparel as they will be going to the USA on April 1. They may (or may not) have brought the right clothing and it is spring time there so it tends to get a little chilly at times.
I am also on the look-out for items as well. Things that I can order so they can bring back before the end of May. I have been eyeing this thing that I want to give my daughter on her birthday and it is so expensive here. Hopefully, before May, they will be putting it on sale. That is why I am stalking Busted Moms @bustedmoms.com. I seldom use my facebook account but with Sears I will probably be a little more active. I plan to become a fan because they have an account at facebook. I might even get a chance to win $2,500. Aside from facebook, I can stalk them over at twitter. I also have a twitter account but I seldom use it too as I am more visible at plurk. I might exchange plurk with twitter because of Sears Busted Moms.

A Day With Two Kids
A week before my daughter's final exams, I was already reviewing her so when friday came, I decided to bring one of her cousins Jana so they can play at Fun Ranch (after my daughter's classes). But when we got there, it was closed from 4 pm -7 pm because it was reserved for a party. So we proceeded to Megamall and let them play at the jungle gym instead.

At first they were too scared to try out the slides and the bouncing thingy especially Janna but after a while they got used to it and so they were all over the place that I could not find either of them. I had to climb to check if they were still okay.
Well, I could see them laughing their hearts out which I presumed was a good sign that they were having fun. Except for one time when Janna was trapped in one of those tunnels that I had to go in and get her. She was already crying and she could not get out because her top got entangled with one of the hooks plus she could not free her hand.
After that, I just let them play at the ball thingy. Well, Janna did not want to dive in but eventually did when she saw that cheska and myself were having fun.

I had fun too but it was tiring for me because I did not bring a yaya and hubby was still at work. So kudos to parents who have more than 1 kid.

My Daughter's First Class Pictures
As promised, although a month late, here are the scanned pics of my daughter's nursery class pictures and individual picture.

She misses her classmates and teachers already. We haven't decided to transfer her yet for next school year to any of the big schools I have been eyeing on because she wants to be with her best friend Elaine who is the girl with the white knee high boots. The mom of Elaine told me the same thing too.

Cheska's First Book On Cutting
My daughter was able to finish one of the first batch of her kumon workbooks. This time it was the workbook on cutting. She loves this workbook as she gets to experience cutting without me hovering over her shoulder. I am now confident that she can handle a pair of scissors by herself.
I am proud to say that she did not cut herself, not once!
Update
I have been such a delinquent blogger that everything is piling up. I have so many things to blog about including my daughter's moving up day that happened yesterday which I will probably blog a couple of months from now. Hahha!
I will try to squeeze in a couple of blog posts today just to update this blog before we will go to the doctor to have my daughter's ears checked. She was not able to sleep last night because of the pain. She was crying and I was crying as well because I did not know how to remove the pain. So we slept together at around 5 am already with arms around each other. I know we are both drama queens but that is how we comfort each other.
Anyways, when she woke up she said the pain is no longer there but she kept on touching her left ear. Even if she is no longer complaining, we will still bring her to an EENT doctor just to be sure.
I hope I can make a few more updates today.

New Curtains Rods Installed
There are a lot of things that should be done around the house and you cannot do it without heavy duty tools. That is a fact. Just recently my husband was using Nailers because we installed a couple of curtain rods at our room. Without them, it would not have been possible. There was actually no effort required.
I am sure a lot of men (and women) are thankful to have these pneumatic tools around the house to help. It makes doing home improvements possible, easier and cheaper because we can do them by ourselves. The best maker of these tools are from Stanley Bostitch.
Now I am loving the look of the room because of the new curtains and it will make changing them a lot easier because of the curtain rods installed.
Check it out.

Early Or Mid-Morning?
Hubby and I are thinking of transferring my daughter's class from the mid-morning class to the early morning class for next school year. So instead of 11:30 she can come to class at 8:30. I have already reserved a slot for the mid-morning class. We have tried it today as the schedule of her classes today and tomorrow starts at 8:30 am. They are practicing their performances for the "moving up" day on friday. We were home by 11 am. We were able to accomplish a lot. She was able to finish her workbooks before 1 pm and she was able to take a nap before the clock reached 2 pm. She woke up at 4 pm and played with her cousins who are here in the afternoon. They usually leave before 6 pm. So she is well-rested and she was (we were) able to accomplish a lot and there is still a lot of time left to do other things.
However, I have to wake her up before 8 am which I hate. I hate waking her up when she is already asleep. She is a growing girl after all and she needs her sleep. She usually wakes up at 10:30 am. That is the only reason that is stopping me from changing her classes to the early morning class for next school year.

Trying It Out
There was a time when my husband bought materials that I did not know the purpose of. I did not ask him about it but later I found out that he wanted to try screen printing again. He wanted to try it out again because he said he tried doing that when he was a lot younger and he had so much fun. Anyways, I told him if he wanted to make personalized shirts, why not order from customyourshirt.com instead. There is not much effort and they can do that in an instant. He can choose from direct printing to digital printing. The choice was his. You see he had shirt designs that he made himself and he wanted to see how it would look like.

My husband and I were looking at our wedding photos last night and we remembered how we prepared for our wedding. We prepared for it for 10 months and we loved every minute of it. The duration was not right because we did not feel rushed or anything like that. However, a day before the wedding I was still stressed out (just like any other bride) because our emcee wanted something that we had to do and we did not have the time to do it anymore. Anyways, I remembered my husband and I finished it but we had to forego other plans at that time.
One of the easiest items that we purchased for the wedding were wedding flowers. All we had to do was decide what kind of flowers that we want, what color and what kind of arrangement. But we had to go to this place that was not really easy to find. However it is also not that easy as I had to think about the flowers for the reception venue, the church and the flowers for the car, my bridal bouquet as well as the flowers of my entourage. I am sure it would have been easier if we got it from fiftyflowers.com. All we had to do was order online.
My advice to all brides-t0-be, take the easy option. If you can order online and there isn't any price difference anyways, then get it online.

It Is Not Just Me
My daughter is gaining weight again. I am so happy because she lost a lot when she started schooling. And the fact that she became sickly which is the reason why I agreed to her having really short hair. Anyways, just take a look at this picture taken during my birthday dinner at Dampa. She looked like she got it all back diba? Hehehe.
And you are right Gracie, I had fun because I was able to spend it with family.

Just Oozing With Sexiness
As you would have it, as soon as I am losing weight, I am gaining again. Hahahaha! I could not help it. I always feel I am entitled to a little something as soon as I lose weight. Thus, I gain more than I lose them. It really is frustrating. When I get frustrated, I eat. So to take my mind of eating... I window shop online and I am loving what I see.
You see, I seldom wear any shoes or sandals with heels these days. But I would like to make an exception. I would love to have a pair of these. Actually, I would love to have it in all colors.
But this color can do since it costs USD595 a pair. I feel that every penny I spend on it is going to be worth it. Just by looking at the picture, you can almost see yourself wearing it and looking sexy and all that. It has been a long time since I dressed up and I feel I got to get my groove back on before I totally forget how.
Can you just feel the sexiness of the Omelle sandal? I heart it already. This is going to be another item on my wish list. I noticed that my wish list is getting longer day by day.
How about you? What is on your wish list?

Picture Taking Day
My daughter had a picture taking day at school where each child was requested to wear their best Sunday outfit (dress for girls and polo or shirt for boys) . I think this was a combination of classroom pictorial thing with individual picture taking for yearbook perhaps? I do not know. Hehehe.
When I brought her to school that day, I was able to sneak in a picture with the kids who were already there.

Since my daughter looked so beautiful, I took her to a photo studio afterwards to have her photo taken. I still have to scan them. Promise I will do it tomorrow.
After her photo shoot, my daughter and I watched You Changed My Life. Lol!

Keep As Natural As Possible
These days it is important to use products that are environment friendly. Mom (parents) should be careful as to what they use in the homes. We live in a very toxic world and we should at least minimize the toxicity level at home where the kids are about. We have to keep the family safe from harm. It is our responsibility to check what is being used around the house. Like for example cleaning products, we have to use products that are as environment friendly as possible. There are products that we can buy that are made out of natural herbal ingredients.
Another thing that we should be conscious of is the food that we eat. It should be as natural as possible. We should make sure that what we feed our family should be healthy and let us do away with processed foods. If we can, I think we should not let our children eat pork. Good thing my daughter does not like pork. She does not eat hotdog nor hamburgers nor any food that has pork in it. I am so lucky or rather she is so lucky.

Needed
Ok so the internet connection is back after 5 days! I was already having separation anxiety. Hehehe. For that five days, I was alternating between my smartbro plug-it and dial-up. Since the two were only back-up, it was okay that it was not as fast as the regular internet connection. At least I was able to do the posts that I needed to do plus my articles that I needed to get done.
However, my blog updates would have to start tomorrow since I have a couple of hours left that I needed to catch up with. Plus today is my daughter's last day of exams so I promised her we will go ice skating after her exams. Weee! This time it will just be the two of us.
Word for the day.. needed. Hahhaahah!

Still Thankful
I just heard that the car of my sister who lives in the province, her new honda, was in a vehicular accident. Actually, it was my dad who told me. My sister showed him the picture of her car. My sister did not sustain any injuries and she is okay although the fender of the car is totally wrecked. She was hit by a korean who was driving an SUV. No worries though because the insurance will cover all the damages except for the participation fee that my sister has to pay for. I just hope that the company where she works at gives her a monthly car allowance because she uses her car for business meetings and company transactions. You would not believe how many miles she has to cover to go from one area to the next. I doubt if the company will just issue her an assigned car with driver since every company is issuing policies on cost-cutting measures and all that jazz. I heard that companies are cutting all allowances and overtime expenses just to cope with the times. I hope that the global economic crisis will end soon.
Anyways, I am just glad that my sister is okay.

Internet Update
The internet connection at home is not back yet. So I am using my plug-it. The thing is I am grateful that I have this but I can't help but compare it to the other connection. The connection is sooooo slow. It takes me 30 minutes just to upload one picture. Actually, I cannot make any decent updates because of the speed. That is why I am just finishing all my tasks for the weekend. I am already dreading tomorrow. I do not know how I am going to cope.
Oh well. Things happen for a reason anyways. So probably this is a chance for me to use the plug-it. My husband said this purchase was a waste of money because I barely use it. So now I am showing him that it is not a total waste after all.

A Full Proof Plan
I have just been to the doctor to have myself checked. We waited for 4 hours! Can you believe that?! That is how good my doctor is. It was a long wait. Anyways, I think that when you want something so badly you should do something about it, most especially if there is something that should be fixed. Like in my case, I have pcos (or polycystic ovaries) so I have to go to the doctor and drink medicines prescribed to get rid of it so I can conceive again. Hopefully! That is why doctors exist to help us get better. We do not have to get depressed and wallow in misery and curse the high heavens for giving us this kind of dilemma. We can do something about it. We SHOULD do something about it.
I have friends who have problems with their eyesight. They did not despair. What they did was they got themselves laser eye surgery. So now, they have perfect 20/20 vision. It is all about getting the right help and the right care and everything will be all better. Of course, I have always believed that prayers work too. So get the treatment, drink your medicines and pray hard.

No Distractions While Driving
I still haven't recovered from the accidental death of this boy who was hit by a van in one of the parking lots of this exclusive school. I do not want to be in the position of this mom who accidentally ran him over nor do I want to be in the shoes of the mom who lost a child. This accident made me scared for my daughter and for myself each and every time we go out of the house. I pray everyday for our safety and for the safety of whom we pass by on the road. Hehehe.
Nobody wanted that to happen. Although I think she will be charged with accidental homicide. I am not sure. It was not like she was drunk or something. The charges would have been much worse if that were so. There are also a lot of cases when the driver was drunk. I have this plurker friend whose brother (and family) died because of a drunk driver. I am sure that guy has a Massachusetts OUI Lawyer to represent him. Nobody should ever drink and drive. Nobody should use their cellphones while driving. All drivers should be 100% focused on the road while driving. It is the only way to avoid road mishaps.

My Summer Plans
I am so confused as to what lessons my daughter will take this summer. She will not have any playmates since her cousins J and E will be going to the USA for the entire summer vacation. I hope that her other cousins A and A will be able to come here for a vacation from Butuan and spend a month with my daughter. I have to ask my sister about this.
Anyways, since she will most probably be alone for the summer, I am thinking of several lessons to keep her occupied. Her school is offering several summer programs and I am thinking of enrolling her there. Aside from that I am also thinking of letting her take swimming lessons. She knows how to swim already much to the surprise of her grandmother J. So with lessons she will be even better. Plus her lungs could take a little exercise. I am also considering ballet classes again. She could join her previous class. Oooh I also want to her to take gymnastics lessons. Actually, gusto ko pa sana ang piano, guitar, etc. Hahaha! Ang dami kong plano diba.
Is there such a thing as a summer burn-out? HAHAHHA! Don't worry she will just take two lessons (at the most 3) this summer. So she will have plenty of time to rest before school starts again. I'll keep you all posted.

No Internet Connection
The internet connection here at home is busted! I have been trying to connect the whole afternoon. Actually, there is a connection but I could not get any cache. There seems to be something wrong with the server of the provider. Hopefully, they will be able to fix it tomorrow. Right now I am using my internet plug-it that I have not used for a very long time. Good thing it is still working so I can still blog, plurk and check my email. Plus, I am so thankful that this happened during the weekend. It would be devastating for me if it happened during the weekday.
Anyways, I hope they will have it fixed tomorrow because I badly need it during the weekdays. I have my online job you see and my boss(es) might get mad if I cannot provide any output. So if ever that happens I might lose my weekly income. Huhuhu! Anyways, will it help if I get in touch with an it consulting company regarding my problem? I know that they provide the right IT solution to the person who needs it the most. I am the person who needs it the most right now.
If you do not hear from me, it just means that the problem has not been solved.

Francis M., A True Pinoy Legend
Double Surprise!
I have been reviewing my daughter this week for her final exams next week. As a prize, I am going to bring her to Fun Ranch this afternoon. Actually, the prize is not that but I will be bringing her cousin J too. So she will have somebody to play with. I am sure she will be surprised to see J with me when I pick her up from school today.

Paying My Bills On Time
My mom asked me if I could pay her credit card bill using my online account. The problem is I forgot my online password. How irresponsible of me. Anyways, I told her I will just go to the bank tomorrow since I have to go to the bank anyways. Might as well hit two birds with one stone right?
It is important to pay the bill before the due date because the interest or penalty paid because of non-payment is money down the drain. There were times when I forgot my due date and I always felt that the interest or penalty is such a waste of money. That is why I always make sure that I pay my bills as soon as I get them to avoid getting any penalty. Aside from that, one of the reasons why I make sure that I pay my bills on time is I do not want to receive any calls from a Collection Agency. I remember there was one time when I got one and I did not like the tone of that person. I forgot my due date you see or rather my husband forgot. So anyways, what I did was I paid it in full and closed my account. I never wanted to deal with that ever again. I knew it was my fault and it was their job to do exactly that but I could not take it. Anyways, what was done was done.

Sweetest Daughter
My husband and daughter left me on my birthday and did not tell me where they were going. It was okay because I felt I was given some "me" time. What did I do? I blogged. Haha. What else is new. So after an hour or so they came back and surprised me with this...
I was not expecting it because it was already planned that we were going to celebrate it at Dampa for dinner. So I was surprised and it was such a pleasant one because it came from my daughter.
My Weight Loss
I am proudly announcing that I have been losing weight. A month (or two) ago I weighed 130 lbs. Imagine my surprise when I hopped on my weighing scale and I found out that I am down to 122 lbs (more or less). Hehehhe! Yippeeee! I could not be happier! I am looking forward to wearing my old tops and pants that no longer fit me. Hopefully, I can wear them all a month from now. That is, if I do not overeat because of too much happiness due to the weight loss.
Anyways, speaking of which, since I am losing weight I have to have some sort of motivation. I have been eyeing this Bop Basics dolman top that I feel would look good on me once I get my desired weight of 116 lbs. Weeee! The fact that it is on sale makes me heart it all the more.
I must admit that I have been feeling depressed for a couple of months now because of the weight gain. Hopefully, this weight loss will continue until 116 lbs. I will keep you guys updated on this. If I don't, it just means that I am gaining weight again. Ha! Ha!
