Afterwards, my daughter wanted to play with those claw things. The one that you drop tokens in so you can maneuver the claw and get the stuff toy. She had about 6 tokens. The first time that she did it, she almost got the stuff toy but it was too heavy for the claw and so it fell. The next three tokens that she had, she played with the drum thing. Then, she wanted to play with the claw thing again. She was really determined. She wanted to get the blues clues stuff toy. So when it was down to the last token, we told her that we had to go home because of the father's day dinner that we will give my dad. We really did not think that she would get it. So the people around her were watching her without actually letting her know so she would not get self-conscious and that included us. We were actually far away from her because we wanted her to figure it out for herself. When the claw got it, it felt like the people who were watching her were not moving nor were they breathing... just like me and her dad. We all held our breaths! When the claw dropped it into the slot the people were clapping and cheering her on. She was sort of surprised when the people did that. I was jumping and her dad had a big smile on his face. Galing!
The stuff toy has its own space inside the car to remind us of her achievement. She did it on her own without any help from us and she was successful! Yey!
Here she is with her prize.
