Brother Ink Cartridges

I just remembered the ink cartridges that I gave the supplier of our inks in the office. Oh man! I totally forgot about it.  I wonder how I will be able to get it from her tomorrow when she only visits the office at least once every two (sometimes even 3) weeks. Oh no. If she did not leave it behind, I am in big trouble because I need that specific printer for the computer where I use the bank system.  I do not know if it is the same with the Brother ink cartridges. I hope they are compatible.  I wonder why nobody has invented a generic ink cartridge it.. so one can use the Epson ink cartridges for HP printers or the Epson printer ink cartridges if there aren't any HP cartridges around. I am sure it will be beneficial to both.

Oh well, I can just ask the purchasing head who is also my friend if the supplier left anything behind today.  If worse comes  to worse, I will borrow the cartridges from other departments who have the same printer/fax machine as mine.  I hope that their ink cartridges are full. Hehe! I am sure people will help me find cartridges especially since this concerns their payroll. LOL!

Do A Point To Point Wireless Just To Make It Work

I brought a laptop to work today together with the plug-it. I usually do not bring it since I have my own pc at the office. But ever since yesterday, the wi-fi is not working and so I cannot do my work which brings me to a realization that I need the internet to work. How that even became possible? I do not know.  I just hope that tomorrow the maintenance people will be able to do a point to point wireless to make it work.  I do not care if they have to do a microwave backhaul.  What I only care about is the internet connection.  I might bring the laptop again together with the plug it again tomorrow just in case they haven't fixed it yet. I need to answer emails within the day especially the ones that are rushed.  It is a good thing I have these at home or else I will demand the maintenance people to do a ptmp just to make it work.

Actually, they should be thankful that the CSG head is level headed because even if he needs the internet he does not complain at all.  I know of some heads who will demand what they want. My boss is different. He does not demand and he patiently waits.  I should learn from him.

Gymnastic Equipment

I think it was two summers ago when I enrolled my eldest in gymnastics. She has a talent in gymnastics as she was able to do all the warm-up exercises and  the gymnastics routine every session. I would love to enroll her again in gymnastics so she can walk the balance beam again.   She loves going through her routines on the balance beams. She also does not give up which kind of stuck to me.  So if ever if she will be given a chance to enroll in a gymnastics class again, I would do so, preferably the one in Miriam since they are serious in training the kids. You should see the gymnastic equipment of the school. It is better than the others. I know. I already compared them.

One thing I know is parents are also putting efforts in making sure that their kids get to develop their talents. I enrolled my eldest in all kinds of classes before and that is what I always noticed.  The parents wait for their kids to finish whatever class they enrolled them in.  That is what I call commitment. I hope I will be able to commit to whatever talent God will give my kids. I also hope we will have the finances to support them.

My Mutterings For The Week And Nurse Uniforms

Super sleepy but I cannot sleep. I must be too tired. Hehe! So anyways, here are my mutterings for the week:

1. Owner :: equals boss.. if you are an employee, you have to follow what he says. So if he asks you to wear uniforms and scrubs, you will have to do so.
2. Impressive :: nurse uniforms at peachesuniforms4u.com
3. Compute :: how much the office uniforms and nurses scrubs per employee.  So we will know exactly what we should ask for.
4. Choked :: up about you.
5. Sarcastic :: I am sometimes. 
6. Wink :: emoticon is my most used emoticon ;)
7. Sheer ::shining, shivering, splendid
8. Technical :: i hope that our it who handles all our technical IT matters will drop by our office tom. I have a lot of things I want him to take a look at
9. Laundry :: girl.. is the one who does our laundry for us.
10. Word game :: is an app game that I am playing right now.. It is sort of a scrabble and you play with real people. You can choose from your email contacts or your twitter friends or even your facebook friends. 

Speaking of uniforms, we had our measurements taken yesterday for the 2012 uniform.  For the other office, the schedule for measurement taking is tomorrow.  Hehe!

Wholesale Jewelry For My Daughters

I no longer wear my jewelry. In fact I hid them where nobody will be able to find them. Ever since somebody stole my gold bracelet, I refrained from wearing my bracelets. Sadness! So I only wear a watch, my wedding ring, my engagement ring and a pair of earrings. That's it! In fact, I no longer change the pieces. Hehe!

However, even if I no longer wear my jewelry anymore. I have plans of expanding my collection. It is a nice investment after all. Plus my daughters would want to have them when they are older.  So I am checking out wholesale jewelry just in case I can get pieces that are cheaper than when I buy them at their regular prices.  I wholesale jewelry even if it is african jewelry because I have two daughters who I am sure will love to get really nice pieces of jewelry when they are older.

My mom was able to give us all 6 of us jewelries.  It may not be all at the same time but she does. So thanks much. Heheh! I remember there was a time when I was little when she gave us our gold bracelets. She told us once we lose a piece of jewelry, we will no longer receive anymore from her. That is why i am super careful with mine... which is why when I lost my bracelet, it broke my heart.  If only I could curse the one who got it to hell and back, I would. But like what my mom said... it is better to lose that than to lose me. Maybe when the one who got it was planning on getting it from me, he (or she) was planning to take my life. One can never tell diba.  This is the reason why I no longer some of my jewelries. I am keeping it at a minimum.

PC 104

Do you know that I no longer use my laptop at home. I always use hubby's because mine is no longer working. For some reason, it does not charge and so I can't turn it on. Hubby wants me to have the battery pack changed but I do not want to. Well, not right now since I can use his naman. Actually, I only use the laptop at home for blogging. So that is the only use for it right now which means that his laptop will do in the meantime. I figure if I have to buy a  battery pack, I will buy a brand new laptop or probably a desktop with a single board computer and a pc 104.  I actually do not know a lot about computers, I just rely on hubby.  So when hubby says single board computer, I do not know what that means. Hehehe!

Speaking of computers, I was just reminded of the bet that my officemate placed. She said that as soon as our other friend gets married (or was it engaged), she will give her a brand new laptop.  I think that bet was placed two years ago. So up until today, it remains to be seen because our friend has no chances yet of getting married.  Hehe! She even joked that by the time the laptop will be claimed it is no longer working since our friend is taking so long. Funny really especially if you hear the story from her. We are actually planning her bridal shower even if she does not even have an official boyfriend now. LOL!  Why official? because there are a lot of "unofficials", if you get what I mean. So anways, there is hope yet because the unofficial may be official some time in the near future. One can never tell really what the future holds for each of us. 

Sunday Stealing: The Get Out Jail Free Meme, Part One And The Best Credit Cards

1. When you're home alone, do you still close the door when you use the restroom? yes.

2. If you have to go grocery shopping, would you rather go alone or with someone?  I would rather go with someone. I do not actually like grocery shopping so  I prefer to be with hubby so he pays. LOL!

3. It's your best friends birthday, would you buy them a gift even though they didn't buy you one for yours. Of course, I would even buy them a a gift from one of the best credit cards.

4. You win the lottery. Lump sum or small payments over a period of time? Why?  I guess lump sum so I can do what I want to do all at once! I already have a lot of plans as soon as I win the lotto and I need a lot of money for that at once. At least I do not have to fill out a credit card application for these things. 

5. Do you like your music loud or at a reasonable level? Music at a reasonable level ALWAYS!

6. Are you a beach person or a snowy mountain person? both! I would love to go to a snowy mountain someday even if I have to spend for it by using the best credit cards

7. When do you brush your teeth? In the morning as soon as I wake up, after I take a bath. After I eat my lunch and when I get home as soon as I eat dinner.

8. Can you watch scary movies alone? YES!

9. Soft bed or firm? And in fantasy land, who's in it with you?  Soft bed. ...

10. Would you rather stay home all day, or be out and about? It depends on my mood. There are days when I just want to stay home all day and there are days when I want to be out and about.

11. What's one of your worst memories (that you are comfortable sharing)?  hmmm. my first miscarriage.

12. Do you like to keep the peace or be confrontational? keep the peace.

13. Are you more likely to be with a large group of people or a few close friends? a few close friends.

15. If money were not a problem, where would you like to live?  There is this house that we just checked today and boy we want to buy it today! It is somewhere over where I work so it is extremely convenient but not when it rains.

18. What is one fear that you can't seem to overcome? death

19. Are you good at math? Compared to my sisters no.. but compared to others (not my family) yes.

Driveway Alarm As An Added Security

Do you know that I am always scared every time I leave the house and leave my daughters behind since we do not have an entryway alert? You can say that I am paranoid when it comes to my kids. I heard many horror stories about people kicking the gate open, ransacking the house and even hurting the people who were left behind.  I would love it if a driveway alarm is installed in the driveway. It will really ease my mind.   The thing is, we used to have an electric doorbell before but every time it rains or it gets wet, the people who press it gets mildly electrocuted. Hehe! So it was removed for the safety of everyone.  However, I think that the wireless doorbell should be considered now since it is wireless. So chances of getting electrocuted is close to none.  Hehehe!

These days, when crime seems to be increasing, it is better to be extra careful such as installing one of those wireless alert systems and/or driveway vehicle detector.  Imagine you get alerted as soon as a visitor comes calling.  This is awesome because you will never be surprised and you will be forewarned who is at your gate or driveway looking for you.  You can even reject visitors as soon as you get alerted.

I remember there was a time before when I was little when a couple of robbers were able to get into the compound. My dad was not around at that time. My mom and my aunts were quick thinkers as they locked us all up in one room and they gained access to a phone.  We had several phone lines at that time but the robbers were quick too as they cut the lines but not before my mom was able to call for help. It was scary but in the end my dad arrived together with a police car which scared the robbers as they escaped.  If we had an intercom system, maybe my mom and my aunts were able to coordinate faster  though they were fast enough not too let anybody get hurt. Just imagine if they did not do what they did. Good job! even without the intercom. Heehehe!

Wrinkle Treatments

I love my "me" days because I can do whatever I want during those days.This week my "me" day is a chance to meet-up with my old classmates, my CPE classmates. I am quite excited about that. What they did not know was I was behind the meet up. I asked one of my classmates to organize the reunion and he did so here we are. Hehehe nice!  Last week, my "me" time was a chance for me to pamper myself.  I got a facial.  My friend, M, who was with me during that time got one of those wrinkle treatments.  She really looked younger afterwards. I am glad I do not have problems in that area yet but if I did I will jump at the opportunity to get wrinkle fillerss or what they call wrinkle treatments. A girl has got to look her best all the time right? Lol! The funny thing was that was not all that we did.  I cannot say what it is exactly.. all I can say is it was really painful and I do not think I will do it again.  They say the first time is the hardest. It gets better every time you get it. I say, weeeeeeh? I think the pain is the same. Lol!

Friday Fill Ins and Low Carb

1. Ah, me...yes sometimes I put myself last but I am trying to change that.
2. Work and low carb desserts are what's on my mind most lately.
3. When I talk to my best friend, I laugh even when we talk about lowcarb.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to finishing what I am supposed to finish, tomorrow my plans include meeting with my CPE classmates for a sort of a mini reunion (I hope that most will come) and Sunday, I want to rest! 

Actually, there is a slight possibility that I will not be able to join the mini reunion tomorrow since I might go to the other office due to work stuff. So I do not , kind of bums me out a little but in the end it's okay because everything happens for a reason. What happens, happens right?

A Small Business Voip Is Always A Good Idea

I presided over another mancom meeting today.  The thing is I do not have any staff in our Marikina branch so I am having an extra hard time managing it because of all the work that has to be done. There are days when I want to give up.  Just give and open a small business voip.  It is a good investment. It is certainly worthwhile. Plus these days you always have to have a sideline in mind, maybe a Business Voip.  This is definitely a good idea because everybody is into Voip these days. You will not go wrong with a Business Voip. After getting a good one, you can get clients. You will not find it hard to get clients especially if your price is right.  You can start out really small and then expand as you get clients.  Once your portfolio increases, you can quit your day job and just focus on your own business. You will never regret having your own business.  It is just like having children, you will never regret having them and putting all your effort just to see them grow is worth it.  Plus the fact that there is never an assurance that you will forever remain an employee in a certain company.

Custom Stickers For The Car

I want to go out but I do not think hubby has any plans of going out of the house. haha! I think he wants to rest. Yesterday, he was really cranky.  The reason was he was not able to take his Saturday afternoon nap. For what reason, I do not really know because I was not around. I was at work.  So anyways, I want to go out and get custom stickers for the car. You know the stick people sticker that has names of each member of the family underneath each character. You can choose what character you like.  The old sticker is chipping off. Actually, the only one chipping off is my hubby's. Hehe! Instead of dad, it now says jad or something like that. So yes, I have plans of getting another one.  I know where to buy them. You just look for a kiosk that also sells custom printed labels or labels and stickers and you will see the car stickers.  This is very usual these days. Heck, almost all the cars that I see have them.  There was a time when it was new and you do not know where to find them. But not these days, they are everywhere.

So anyways, no matter how much I talk about it if we are not going out, then I will not be able to buy it.  Hehe! The truth is I just want to go out. There  is too much domestic drama at home. Ugh! Office drama plus domestic drama can literally kill a person.  So I am trying to be emotionally detached because I am already emotionally drained. Common people. It is the weekend. Let me have some rest and some peace of mind. So whether or not we are going out or not, I just want some peace and quiet. My youngest is quite cooperative because she is already taking her morning nap. While my youngest is also agreeable to that because she does not bother me. She has a lot of playmates today. So she is quite happy with the setup.

Surgical Instruments From Karl Storz

I have been extremely tired the past few days. Maybe because I have been staying up late. Nothing I can do about it now since I have work that I need to finish at home.  This cannot go on for long. I have to take care of myself more by managing my time more carefully next time. Time management is what I need to do more or else I will not be able to carry on for very long.

I remember the time when I was pregnant. I had to drop everything!  My online job, my trips to the mall, all the errands that I had to. As in everything! It was not just possible since I was spotting and everything despite the fact that I was already taking meds. I remember I used to frequent to hospital for check-ups because of this reason. I did not want to lose the baby and so I had to endure being probed and what have yous by surgical instruments most probably from karl storz.  I know that the hospital where I have birth has the best equipments. You should see it.  They are top of the line.  That is why I am thinking they come from karl storz. Hehe!  So anyways, I had to endure that for 9 months. It was hard for me since I was always out with my daughter. Plus, I wanted to take care of my eldest.   So when the doctor asked me the date that I liked (I am CS after all so I can choose the date), I said the earliest possible time that it is already safe for the baby to come out.  I did not want to make a big fuss out of it. We did not tell anyone that I was already giving birth. We wanted it to be quiet so I can recover in the hospital peacefully. It was a good thing that this was our decision because apparently the anesthesia did not quite work on me so I had a tough time after the operation. To top it all off, I caught my daughter's cough and so I was so scared that the incisions would open because of the coughing that i was doing. It was tough. That time was tough.

So anyways, look at my baby after a few months, already driving and raring to go out to the world. LOL
